Fix right away?
Fix right away?
So about 10 months ago when i got the car, my mechanic told me my front lower control arm compliance bushing on the driver side is showing some tear while the passenger side was fine, i opted to not repair it and drive longer as he told me it will just made noise eventually if i dont repair it. now about 10 months later, i went for an oil change and he noticed that both sides have now actually torn and he told me i should go ahead and fix it due to safety issues and such (this is another mechanic by the way, not the one who initially told me about it 10 months ago).
I guess all the speed bumps and pot holes has finally tore the damn bushings LOL. But yeah, ive been driving fine this whole time. Although after searching some bushing tear symptoms, im experiencing the whole bumpy right, and clunking at the front as if something as loose. So i wanted to know, will this damage my lower control or end links if i dont fix it and continue going on with these torn bushings? or should i book an appointment to fix it right away? He's charging me 300$ to complete the job with OEM parts.
