Hey guys, got into a accident last night with my Acura 2002 tl. Smashed the front of the car. Now I can't open my hood from lever in the car How do I get the hood opend without using the lever inside the car? Any idea, thanks.

Since I had the front bumper totally smashed, I just loosed bolts from under the guards of car and bumper came off. From under the grill the 3 bolts where broken off from the bumper. Then popped out guard on hood latch from under the grill, used a pry bar to lift the hood a little so the lever would have clearance to go back and fourth. And popped the hood from in the car lever. Bam hood pop open. But frame of car is screwed up might need to get a shop to strait it for me. Thanks though got it done. Hood is in great shape.
