How to Fix BackUp Camera on a ACURA 2003 TL

Hi,
I ordered a backup camera from amazon , "chauanganzhou". i own a 2003 Acura TL as i was looking through the instructions, i hardly find any information on how to about the installation of the backup camera. Any fellow Acura-Owners who can guide me in the right direction.
If Step By Step or detailed steps would be greatly appreciated.

The 03 TL never had a stock camera. You will need either a new radio with a video input or a separate screen. (some camera systems offer the screen with the camera). I replaced my radio with a DVD Nav unit. It has a backup camera input. I used a plate mount camera and ran the power and video through the factory tag light grommet in the spare tire well.

[edit] OK, I looked up your unit, I see it comes with a rear view mirror. You are on your own with that. You will probably have to lose your current OEM rear view mirror.

Thanks @grovemaster, i did buy a 4.3 inch LCD display. Being a Noob, i had basic questions on how to get the 12 DC Power into the camera/display. Thanks for letting me know that you used the Factory Tag Light Grommet, i will google that and find out how to plugin in my camera.
I intend to follow your approach for backup camera, then run the wires along the doors.
Hopefully with guidance and much googling intend to finish this project over the weekend.

Hi, Started today to fix the backup camera. Had a 3M connector, Ratchet Screw Driver , Phillips screw driver. Multimeter.Mentally thought through the fix. I will be using 3M connector and fix the black/red to the black/red of the backup camera. Screw the backup camera to the license plate. Pull the 12 feet connector wire from the boot to the front. Figure out a 12 v power source at the front.Started, figured out that i really have to drill a hole for the backup camera leads to end up in the boot. I dont have a fricking clue how to drill the hole. Then Started to work on dragging the connector from boot to front, i thought it would be easy, after 10 minutes of trying to push the wire through the small hole where i am seeing connectors for the brake lights.I need advice on how to punch the hole through to connect the backup camera leads into the boot. Also, on what is right way to pull that fricking wire from boot to front. And what is the best source for 12 V at the front
