i have a problem with my alarm... when i lock the car it never beeps and the lights do not flash.. i already checked the settings, and beep is turned on.. i cant find any bad fuses. all doors, trunk, and hood are closed according to the multi viewer.. can anyone help?

There's a setting for it in the display thinger

 

it auto locks if u lock the doors, unlock the doors but never open the door... then it'll relock after a predetermined time set on ur mid

 

the alarm activates whenever the driver door locks. you can manually press the lock down and then shut the door, you can press the fob once, and you can press it twice. all these will activate the alarm. i think the beep is just a confirmation, and like others have said, it lets you know if you forgot to close something like your trunk. beep > horn honk

 

ive actually checked everything.. all doors hood and trunk are closed. i made sure by checking the multi-viewer in the dash... the car doesnt beep and the alarm light doesnt blink... any ideas?

One press is a stealth lock without a noticeable to everyone honk or beep. Two presses give you a beep so you and everyone nearby knows you locked your doors.

I am having this issue too. Also when I am in traffic, the car autolocks when it hits 10mph. Please help me! Any ideas would be appreciated.

 

you can turn autolock at 10mph off through the dash..

im still trying to figure out why my car doesnt blink or beep when i lock/unlock.. can anyone help?

 

my car stopped beeping after i installed led turn signals for the front turn signal and rear turn signal, but i dont mind the beep as long as the doors still lock. hope this helps

 

I am aware that I can turn off the autolock from the dash, but the autolock didn't used to lock again even when the car is already locked. I'm just trying to figure out what happen. I think one of my door actuators may be going bad. When I lock my doors with the remote while sitting in the car, I can hear a noise coming from my rear passenger seat. Could that be the issue?
