Check engine light

Check engine light came on my 2004 TL 6MT. I had a mechanic who is a friend of the family check and his scanner gave out codes 2195 and 2197. It didn't give him any more info than that and he suggested I go to the dealer. Anyone have any ideas what these 2 codes are and what they mean? I am hoping not to have to go to the dealer ad pay the diagnostic fee if possible. Thanks in advance.

I get the check light engine whenever I use my remote starter too much in a day. Then it goes away. As for you're issue I would have to say google it or take it in

There's a tsb on this. Needs a pcm update. It will need an o2 sensor if that does not work

Do you have the TSB number by any chance? Would be good to have when I go to the dealership.

Those are not the codes for that TSB. The codes for the PCM problem are P0301, P0305 & P0300 for random misfires.

This is the TSB, but it's not your problem...... http://www.in.honda.com/Rjanisis/pubs/SB/B03-033.PDF
