Blower motor issues

I'm having an issue where my blower motor doesn't work intermittently. I find anything below full fan speed it really doesn't want to work, and if I give below the glove box a smack, it turns on, but not much fan speed until medium-high setting, and it blows plenty of air on high. I tried replacing the transistor and this didn't really fix the problem. It seems like there's a loose connection somewhere, but the connectors and wires under the glove box seem fine. Anyone run into a similar problem before?

sounds like a blend door motor is stuck and sending air in the wrong vents all the time...

Can you hear motor running all the time, or is it completely quiet?

If it's completely quiet and smacking it makes it run, big chances are that blower motor itself is bad (or rather brushes are worn out).

Most likley the motor is going bad but check the connectors on the resistor and motor as they often burn and cause a intermittent connection
