av6 trans swap
I'm doing a v6 swap got the trans yesterday and just finished switching over the 3 sensors and gear sensor hardness. My question is I bought and replaced the torque clutch selonid in the summer in the hopes of saving my original trans can I switch that over to the new used one?
Also my transmission cooler should I use the old one I have or use the used?

Your gonna need new mounts and subframe for a mt swap i believe and it took me a good month and a half between two jobs and full time schooling. Thank god i was fortunate enough to be able to get rides from ppl my father in particular.
I used this manual along the way https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dsxqvazckcy8vnx/AADWcIX61oxxjWpiWNWGAlSEa?dl=0&preview=Acura+TL+20 04-2007+FSM+(NP)+(1).pdf
I suggest if you do this you buy all the parts needed beforehand from delrayacura or honda just make sure its oem delrayacura has a 5% of promo code: acurazine all the easily replaceable parts you can get at a junkyard if your lucky enough to have any Im in florida so i had that going for me. If you have the time and money invest in new bushings and get them pressed anything you've been wanting to change to refresh the whip you will be waist deep in that hoe.
Before anything i recommend Taking off your front fenders to not damage em I even took off my hood. but that is if your using an engine support bar, i used a harbor freight one
My biggest struggles with taking apart the car was the exhaust on the bottom mine was rusted to hell and i had to get a new one if your cars like mine keep a torch handy. Ive done alotta work on my car in the past so you might experience a worse uninstallation than I those stabilizer links could be fucked up and you might not know till dealing with it and make sure you have the right tool to take off the ball joints.
You will need two jacks as well and not the tiny ones, I used a harbor freight low profile and a friends harbor freight motorcycle jack (really helped out with dealing with the transmission alone).
Taking out the transmission was tough with wedging it out had to use a big a pole and a flat scraper of some sort at the end. Installing it was harder but I got after that the hardest part is installing those ball joints primarily the lower arm one place a jack under it and push on the brake disc with your foot to tighten (youll know what i mean)
Lastly remember if your searching acura tl you can also look up honda accord one in the same under the hood
I bought my transmission down in opalocka for about a grand after tax.
