Congrats buddy!
Amber got us tickets to see Jim Gaffigan (my fav comedian) for christmas. she got the VIP package which included front row seats and back stage passes where you get to meet and greet/autographs/photo op...
he was performing in Hershey, PA at the Hershey Theater. Anyone who know's Jim Gaffigan knows he does a bit on hot pockets. i decided to put the ring/box inside the hot pockets box for him to sign. after he autographed it, i opened up the box in front of everyone backstage and pulled out the ring. jim recorded everything on his iPhone and i'm still waiting on the email. more importantly, she said yes! she was totally shocked and everything went perfectly.

i know! life has been crazy recently. i felt like this was the best idea/opportunity i would have to do this so i went for it. were heading to AC next month to celebrate!
and yeah...why do you all think i went so mod crazy when i first got the car? i knew it would come to an abrupt stop after tying the knot!

i still haven't installed the front components or 2nd JL amp...waiting til it warms up. not having a heated garage sucks...but i can't wait to finish it up. anxious to hear the final sound after everything gets tweaked.

I have a garage but you cant work on anything in it because it barely fits the acura in it...LOL...I hate townhomes...I will end up rocking the stock setup with dynamat I am sure...

i'm happy to be first...i need to get the lip first after my bank acct recovers. looking for ideas to accent the back end some how without making it look cheap to balance out the front. dont' want the rear lip or spoilers so need other ideas.

j/k. i look forward to changing the look of the car a little, nothing dramatic...nice and subtle. if you have any other ideas....pass 'em along...for now i'lll just blame my brother for his modding influence. the OCD detailing...that was my own creation with some of my brother's help.

may try it out for a day if i get bored.and then i'll go slam my car on 22's and slap an autobot sticker on my car with a racing strip done the middle of it!!!

alright so i got home last night and my new OEM rear type-s bumper arrived from AckTL05. going to get it painted today and picking it up on friday afternoon.
also got the pressure switches/gaskets and i'll be installing them with Ravi this weekend, along with an oil/filter and ATF 1x3 change.

well you have a PC, right? two PC's and a lot of focus...can get your type-s looking really sharp! love the way my car feels and looks after the week long spa treatment. like butta! of right now she's a total garage queen...not sure how long that will last though...the otherone is complaining that its a little cold in the AMs when he leaves the house in the morning. yeah...well welcome to MY world! lol. we can hit it up on a sunday sometime before the pollen falls if you want.

*alright so i took a drive up to RavinNJCL's house (ravi) this past weekend and we did an oil/filter change using redline 5w-20 and a royal purple filter, ATF 1x3 drain and fill using 2 qts redline D4 and 1 qt redline racing (this got my ATF mixture to the correct % according to Inaccurate's findings), and we also replaced the 3rd/4th gear pressure switches/gaskets.
ravi had already done the switches on his 07', so i figured he'd be my best bet. everything went smooth. switches were kind'of a bitch to get to...but we managed to get everything done and the car drives great. i do notice a subtle change when upshifting/downshifting...feels more smooth and no jump. i only have 51k on my TL...but figured this was a good time to do the preventative maintenance. i'll do the switches again at my 105k service.
