^thanks veggie.
i was able to crop out the one picture, but the other one has a telephone pole that is tricky to work with. i'm still trying to get it right tho.

^^ are you using actual photoshop?
i usually make my attempts darker to keep that grain from popping up. using a 'clarity' tool gives that "hard edge" look though.
different than yours but just food for thought
(ps, these files i'm DL'ing are small and compressed as hell, with the original stuff like ^^^ will look even less grainy)

pictures looking noisy bro haha
I owned a photoshop tutorial site where I had members and myself write articles on step-by-step instructions how to make things.
That's how I'm able to replicate almost any design (logo, website, poster, etc) I see out there on Photoshop by scratch =D
I might make a set of tutorials on Photoshop just for the Acurazine peeps.

^^^that's great!
Sean, I went to middle school near a Martin Luther Blvd...there's no such thing as "too much black" thank you very much!
IMO...if you're serious about messing around with pics...you HAVE to sign up for picnik pro. It's 20 bucks for the year and has the ability to clean up and make look nice but simplified into 1 simple step. Unless you have an itch to learn it or have an abundance of time I'd do that first over PS.
example...this took me literally 2 minutes (I'm still learning, Sean is much much better than me...I was OVERDOING it as little as 2 months ago).

You guys need to use GIMP.
One of the best free programs out there.
I've seen some AMAZING edits with GIMP because of all the possibilies from it (it's like photoshop)

^^^ what J is saying is true. flickr+picnik are the shit. i remember GIMP from back in the day, my friend used it. should look into it again i guess?
what i love about picnik is how fast you can do what you want, and you don't need to have YOUR computer with you....anything with internet and your golden.

True that...what Veggie said...you can log into picnik anywhere and pull up your pics and continue to mess with it.
I tried flickr but felt like I had a hard time maneuvering it in comparison to photobucket...I guess I've just gotten used to it.

BUT I realized one thing that made me stop using it for my "good" photos.
Photobucket degraded my images I uploaded, making them pixelly and grainier than the original.
You can Google it if you want.
I discovered this when I uploaded this picture:
You can clearly see the pixel "blocks" if you look at my TV closely.
I uploaded the exact same file on flickr and it was perfect; no loss of quality.
Sorry SharksBreath lol I'm sure you don't mind the talk about image editing in your thread!
