Thank you my friend...yeah, found out late Saturday that Sunday was free for me...and to be honest, I wanted to tackle this on a Saturday morning.

My buddy took the rear precat to his job with him, they have a machine shop there and they'll retap my bottom O2 sensor threading...that was the main thing that kept me from starting it yesterday. I figured, I'd rather take my time and do it right. I'm DYING to see the difference.

PS, can I just reuse my oem gaskets? The metal ones that look like they're on the primaries now?! The ones I bought don't have gaskets (obvi, I'll use the jpipe ones for the bottom).

J, car looks great, wifeys looks great (are you even married to her? idk), but I got an opinion for you to mull over/try.

Get some shots from about...1.5-2' from the ground. just a little bit above where your headlights sit...it will make your fender gap appear smaller at that angle.

yours seem to be almost always like this

but you need some, like dis:

mostly to vary it up. We talked about getting you more ideas, and watching you progress, it appears like your digging yourself into only shooting 1 way, which is arguably a bad thing. I want to challenge you, to help you, not to be a dick

So, so....how'd that sealant work out for you? I see the NBP is ultra blingin' so I don't think I even have to ask...

Sean, you dik!
Funny enough, I usually take that angle too...like, I'll pick an angle that looks sectsy, and then I'll take it from the ground, at 2 feet, at shoulder height and above...but I'm always drawn to the weird angles for some reason. But I feel you and I appreciate the feedback.

Maharaj (fk, I forgot your name already! )
I DID love it...the leather reju stuff is the TETTTTSSS!!!! I think it's had the biggest visual impact of all the stuff I've put on there.
About the Griot's stuff...I started with my hood...and maybe since the pad wasn't prepped well, it kinda left it blotchy and really hard to remove. BUT, the rest of the car was easier to get off...the way I figure it, if it's easy to get off, it'll come off easy...so this stuff being like embedded is probablly why it lasts a long time. Overall, I'm VERY happy with appearance, just wish I had started on the silver accord first so the pad would have been primed for my car. LOVE the gloss though. Thanks for the recommendation.

15MM V2's on the front and 25MM V2's on the rear (swapped with ebelp for a 20). Her OEM wheels don't have enough empty space behind for the lugs sticking out so had to throw the Aspecs back on. She's been behaving with the curbing for quite a while now so i decided to let her rock em...

Thank you sir!

Anil, yeah man...trust me, I can point them ALL out. Rear bumper I got with scratches and hanging off the driver side, courtesy my stepdad...all aspec wheels were curbed (I touched them up) an F250 parked their hitch receiver backed up into my front bumper, left a nice square indention that I used a high lamp to heat up and kinda hammered flat. And various little tiny self inflicted dings...2 of my works are curbed slightly...

I keeps my paint shiny to keep your eye from drawing toward the imperfections.

Well, I can see that offering some serious protection...honestly, the Z2 goes on about the same and comes off much easier, but we'll see...longevity was my main complaint on that.

Somethings wrong then. Lol. Applied too thick, didn't let it haze enough.

It's single easy swipe stuff imho. Hell the last time I just let my Mom take it off...if that tells you anything. Lol

^^^See, I'm behaving myself cause there's a friggin AWESOME joke you just set me up for there.

Yeah, I might gone too heavy the first shot, and that probably didn't allow it to dry. I also applied with my porter cable and black pad.

I've yet to actually apply the sealant with a RO. And I even bought the special griots pad to do it. I should try it out.

Well, either way, the leather product seemed awesome...I didn't get the tire shine cause I LOVE super glossy black...and I have a billion other products...and this sealant seems like it'll fit the bill and not diminish quickly.

Thanks again, man.

I've got Lexol, and Zaino, and Megs and a few others for leather and NONE have impressed me thus far until the Griot's...I'm not 100 percent sold on the polymer wax, but the leather stuff, is amazing.

Sooo...great news, my ex brother in law and very good friend took my HFPC to work and retapped all the O2 ports! Yay, I'm so excited...bought some new bolts from HD...zinc coated steal, grade 8.8...just need to grind down one edge to it'll sit flush on the flange, plus hoping it'll hold itself in place while I torque down from the bottom...

Also, set the RSB back to track...but on the ride to work today, felt a little too stiff for me...I don't track the car and don't need it that stiff. I also noticed that the reason I liked the "street" mode is that the car feels easier to throw from side to side, like when you're going down a curvey road...on track, it feels like the car truly "COMMITS" to the turn and takes longer to bounce back, if that makes sense. I did feel like I couldn't take the offramp as quickly or confidently on "street" but that's a tradeoff...i probably shouldn't be taking it at 75MPH anyway, right!?!?

On a side note, fingers crossed, but called yesterday to request court and STILL, after 2 days my citation cannot be found in the system. Fingers crossed...the cop was a plain clothes and I'm guessing he's not a normal traffic cop and probably doesn't want to go to court for it. We shall see...him giving me the ticket did the trick anyway, I'm not speeding anymore!

Also, when trying to reseat the springs on the rear yesterday, I decided to lower it 2/16" more of an inch to match the little bit more dropped in the front. It's funny how maniacal you can be with coilovers. So, right now, I'm halfway between the 1/2" threading I had before messing with it, and being totally slammed. and guess what, the ride is still good.

J.

PERFECTION!

and some fun ones from yesterday! Just noticed too...thanks for the update, Steven!

Sean, quite nice of you, my friend...see if you can sell em, if they are crap, then yes please...I'll gladly take em (pay for ship etc...obvi)!

I put my set online for $45 for the full set and they didn't sell...I was like, sh*t, for $20 I'd rather just keep em even though I still have the lifetime warranty autozone set too.

Austin...fo sho, bud...yeah, this is with at 2 lines less than 1/2" from bottom perch to bottom of shock front and 1/2" on rear...
I've had a harsh ride, and I'm amazed at how well this set rides this low.

But can't help it, keep changing this or that and want to document it...here's how she sits today. PERFECT. Parked under the overhang in front of the yard's gym at work!

AND, got home and decided to fashion up a mount for my contour gps...got it working pretty well...thank goodness I checked, my first attempt had the dang thing pointed almost down and it was nauseating to watch! Next up, car mount!
