Well boys, TL cleanup is going rather well.
Let's see...all weather mats added, got the aspec side skirts finally.
Figured out my mounts are cooked...probably the high speed vibration I'm feeling, worse from the passenger side which makes sense.
Finally found my forever wheels... so much so that I sold the aspec and esr wheels the car came with. Put on some firestone Indy500
...same ones that that have lasted a long time on the Audi...
I'll do mounts when I do the timing service, high pressure steering line, clutch and oil seals. I have decided that with the clean history, lack of rust...
and overall good condition...I'm going to dive into this one and address all the things. It's a perfect daily and I am in love with it right now.
and my dirty little secret is I put gloss black vinyl pieces over all the failed clearcoat...it looks like shit up close but from 15 feet away it doesn't jump
out at you anymore, which is good.

@Pair of TLs
@nats007
Thank you boys...
I'm in love with the damn thing!
I was going to do the inspire fogs this weekend but the person I bought them from used USPS for delivery dropped down from Fedex so I guess they'll show up when they show up.

I certainly have BUT...they bump the price up enough to start considering stuff like the gram lights or other options...these were VERY cost effective IMO for what you get. Thanks Danny

It's one reason why I still have my set even though I bought the RS05-RRs.
Also you know what would look nice behind those shiny new nt03 of yours? My rear BBK

Right you are
It certainly would complete the look.
RS05 were the original wheel that made me go WOW back when they released!
Yeah, NT03 being strong and only like a pound heavier were a HUGE selling point...
plus I don't like the look of all RPF1 and the prices on them has gone up...
BOTH the NT and the RP look like shit in a convex/flat face to me...so 18x9.5 is the only way to go.

It started off that way but I found one shop locally willing to cut off my tiny tips and weld in a bigger version of the OEM.
If I revisit, it'll likely be this again.
with that said, I really like the look of the base lights with the amber in there so I'll likely recreate my dark
version of those...if I do that I'll end up selling these.

RV6 is the best sounding exhaust although I'd be down for a used ATLP base at this point...
I'll end up doing something custom, I'm sure...
SO many people would hound me to figure out what tips were on there...

LOL...they are...
I got excited messing around with amber vinyl since I did the sidemarkers...might pull em and go back to just white to match the low beam.

Headlights look Great! So does the rest of the car. I’d like to fix the shrouds around my projector, but I’m too scared to do it myself. I had JnC paint them gunmetal, but that didn’t work well, the paint has bubbled up some. Idk the cause!???

Probably heat and maybe not prepping the surface properly.
Honestly, I got lucky and did it with plastidip a decade ago with
good results...holds up well to heat and goes on evenly and is
forgiving when putting things together and doesn't emit any gases
that cloud things when gassing off (occurs in the oven).
I've gotten decent at opening/closing these things now...

Added some freon and dye yesterday...probably the compressor...
nice and freezing cold today!
The more I drive the car, the more I want to!
