Thanks Deca...what a blast from the past. Hope you're well!
Fightin the good fight...toss this thing around a little fluid added here and there and she just keeps on truckin...even getting
pounded out she gets 21 mpg, which is nuts. Still fun as hell to drive...

Decided to put the CE back on the S2000...here is a look I have NOT seen much...
Kinda dig the machined on the NBP, actually

I need another car like I need another asshole (spoken from the perspective of a guy that has 6 assholes).

BUT, did stumble on a part out locally...fire damaged car and fair pricing...crazy...I actually scooped the wheels 2 days prior...
my cousin actually bought the other 8.5" set...

Doing well, thanks.
So what color is 'Paint Society' going to pimp that lip kit out in?
That would be a great video discussing the appreciated value of these rare kits and bringing one back to new life with his skillsets.

You know, the sweet fruity bouquet of the ethylene glycol monobutyl ether & propylene glycol methyl ether in that red bondo glazing & spotty putty, used in your video, is one of my favorites. Amirite?

Brother, I bathe in that every morning. I love that scent (shortened to read: napalm).

In a strange turn of events...
the mismatched cheap tires on the aspec didn't roll so smooth...ironically, the OTHER set of 8.5" I helped my cousin pick up for his TSX Wagon @cu2wagon
actually were perfectly straight and true, just needs refinish and tires.

So my aspec wheels were short lived as I ended up cleaning up the 18x9.5" +22 ESR wheels that came on my car after a test drive with proper hub centric rings and conical lug nuts...who knew, they rolled fkn smooth

I'll grab some pics soon and need to decide if I should flip the aspecs or what...I'm sure a fresh set of tires and balance would make them great but for now, I don't feel like shelling out the cash for more rubber (haven't done that since
I was single in my 20's).

Completely forgot to mention that I added a new progress rear sway and all new OEM endlinks all around as well. Little by little, she's coming together.

rockstar143, I just viewed your excellent Utube on the TL rear tail light modification.

The one thing that would have rounded it out nicely, especially since it was dark outside when you finished, would have been to quickly press the brake pedal so they would illuminate to highlight your hard work.

Otherwise, I felt like the young Padawan watching the Master!

Thanks Steve... @BreezyTL I wish I had just had them professionally done, honestly.
I ended up refinishing the wheels that came on the car when I bought it. We shall see, not
sure what I'm feeling like doing...it would be an easier decision if I didn't have so many cars
I have to keep up with.

Noticed the side skirts were gray. Will that be addressed along with the clear coat peeling on the rear aspec?

it actually matches my wheels pretty well. @BreezyTL
Naw, I found an aspec kit locally and scooped the whole thing in Anthracite...couldn't help myself, I slapped the sides and trunk spoiler on as is.
Rear isn't clear fade, it's damage. Also part of the exhaust surround is melted (part of why I picked up the whole other set).

@sockr1 knows what's up
I actually slapped some pieces of gloss vinyl over the failed clearcoat so the damage would be LESS obvious and not in your face from 20 feet away.

Well boys, TL cleanup is going rather well.

Let's see...all weather mats added, got the aspec side skirts finally.
Figured out my mounts are cooked...probably the high speed vibration I'm feeling, worse from the passenger side which makes sense.

Finally found my forever wheels... so much so that I sold the aspec and esr wheels the car came with. Put on some firestone Indy500
...same ones that that have lasted a long time on the Audi...

I'll do mounts when I do the timing service, high pressure steering line, clutch and oil seals. I have decided that with the clean history, lack of rust...
and overall good condition...I'm going to dive into this one and address all the things. It's a perfect daily and I am in love with it right now.

and my dirty little secret is I put gloss black vinyl pieces over all the failed clearcoat...it looks like shit up close but from 15 feet away it doesn't jump
out at you anymore, which is good.
