rockstar143's '04 NBP progress thread (part deux continues after 6 year hiatus)
I concur!
Thanks, Josh!

Sad to see it officially go but glad it's going to someone who seems like they're going to truly appreciate and enjoy the work you put into it!
Dude, he has some really fun plans for the car, I'm really excited to see how it all comes together.

He's a guest...
he's on here, but lurking...so he can't post or start threads. He then chased me down on craigslist ad to get my number. He wasn't sure he wanted an account unless he was buying the car.

Coloured license plate bolts...? Hmmmnn... do give more info
My 2 plate bolts have been rusted and seized since i've practically owned the car. I gotta find a way to take them off and replace them...
You guy just using those coloured bolt-washers or whatever they're called?

We waiting for Kleighton to make a username and create his own thread and then come in here and post the link to the next life for the car!
I should text him and see if he got home safely over the weekend.

@numairh
I would see them and break neck...with that and the rising pricing on the 6MT I thought maybe the time was passed.
I decided to finally make a decision on the Audis...didn't want to babysit 2 needy depreciating bitches indefinitely...DSG
won for the color and the fiance being able to drive it (plus kayak and bike duty for adventure weekend getaways)...plus,
Suburban still had a payment that needed to be addressed.
Didn't even list the S5...had a guy ask about the S4 which led us to the S5 and he bought it for basically everything I had
into it. A year of ownership and 8K miles...it was fun and I'll revisit the 6MT at a lower cost with higher mileage down the line.
S5 owes me more too...which puts it just out of the guy's price range. BUT, alas...what does he pull up in? 2004 NBP 6MT
that needs some serious TLC...included weird shifter, Tein Basis, custom pioneer radio, failing clear, torn drive seat, cracked
dash, vibration on acceleration. All of the things that make the 3G near and dear to my heart. So, plan was to either flip it after
cleaning it up for a profit OR (and more likely)...recreate my old girl that I should never have let go. Clean carfax, dealer maintained,
timing and clutch done at 105K with 170 on it now. I'm in
okay...not yet, but I will be...it's nice to be back in a familiar girl ()
Had to follow new owner to his house to get wheel lock and a few other things he forgot...would not recommend watching your badass
400hp AWD lowered machine sitting perfect on 20's drive down the rode for 10 miles after you sold it. That was brutal.
