rockstar143's '04 NBP progress thread (part deux continues after 6 year hiatus)
Dude, as your questions. We all start somewhere. At least you bother to look and see if the wheel was invented before wasting people's time. I agree...it's all on here. I owe my maintenance and lots of saved money to this website.
Never mind, just reconciled and the site owes me money for how much I've spent frivolously because of it.

J, you just have an SPC upper arm in the back, right? No camber kit up front? The J Power thread has me spooked that anything other than OEM will make the car squirrely under hard turns

I have SPC upper rear and SPC or Ingalls front balljoint.
Stay the fk away from J power. I had the 2 arm lower kit and over time the bushings squeeze out...they don't back the product and there were quite a few maneuvers where I almost lost control because the rear end was unpredictable.
Greenman...nice, man...yeah, sometimes, you have to give yourself a second and relax. Worst case, they make the little blue pill. Good work.

J. I'm currently sitting in my G, at a Jack in the Box drive thru, thinking about your car.
Does that make me a bad person.

Lets put it this way - It was so cheap I couldn't say no. I got 530s in Chromium black for 500$ USD shipped brand new. They may be relegated to a winter set come next fall though, if all goes well and I fork over the money for a set of Gram Lights or Work MCOs. I also realized that if I went with 19s I would be paying 200$+ more for tires every time

Quick question for you - You never tackled your front sway bar, right? Just added a progress in the back? What setting do you run yours on - I'm shooting for the progress bar + PCI compliance bearings to go on with the Tein SA so I can just set the suspension and leave it be for the foreseeable future (hopefully
)

No sir...I already have a decent front one since I'm 6MT and I never saw a reason to drop frame for it.

Good point. Hmm, I'm wondering if I should tackle it.
I figure it would be a worthwhile mod since I'm planning on working on the car further and from the research I've done its pretty much a must if you want to balance the progress bar. Perhaps I'll see if the shop that's doing my coils can do it for a reasonable amount while they're working on the car.

I doubt it...it's a lot of work. I'd have done it if it wasn't a big deal.
Enjoy the car, man...don't go nuts spending all your damn money

So much new stuffs, so excite ![Run](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/run.gif)
Getting my fenders rolled this week, then driving down to Buffalo to pick up my wheels and some other goodies next week, hopefully tires get delivered by then and we have good enough weather for me to install the coils with a buddy or two in the garage without freezing to death![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Somewhere in there I also need to find the time to get my side skirts painted so I can get my A-Spec on!
