I want to say it's Eagle one titanium gel applied with a foam pad, I generally do outer diameter first, then inner.
Thanks everyone! Yeah, Betty did her hair on Saturday so she wasn't about to have her hair all messed up for a cruise in the S! LMAO...
Steven and all, come on down, it's gorgeous down here, man. That map of the US makes FL look like a peen with a bad case of the burns

Thanks, buddy.
Okay, you can have it!
Actually, driving it Sunday made me feel like I may keep it forever. I absolutely LOVE how it handles. As you know me, Sunday I already had the front grill pulled out, took off the lip protector (that added an inch of LESS clearance...had I not had that, I would have cleared the manhole cover) rebolted the oem bolts, added some glazing putty to the crack with my finger, then touched up the damage. Looks pretty decent now. It'll get me by until I get the front bumper fixed permanently.

For the record, I'll ban you to next century if you slap on a Mugen or Spoon sticker on your S2000.
Even if it apparently adds 40 HP.

Every mod on the car thus far has been functional...new tires, new wiper blades, took front lip protector off for clearance...I even opted to keep all the normal filament bulbs even though I have plenty of led replacements lying around. I want to just enjoy DRIVING it. I won't even lower it any more than it already sits...I can't...I won't want to have to be that critical of bumps in the road and any raised manhole cover
Previous owner had "I heart my AP2" sticker on the rear window diffuser (between the two seats). I yanked that off first day.

We don't ever violate a great car. EVAR.

Thanks Justin...honestly, the day I was able to admit that to myself...and was able to try and stave off the need to always be right and not be the one at fault, the world was my oyster.
Still a daily struggle to not let ego get in the way of happiness...but at least I have some direction now.

If I could go back in time to where the car was just looking good on Aspec and oem sidemarkers and even headlights and tails...
then put all that cash into an account. I totally would...
I changed how the car looks. In retrospect though, I didn't necessarily make it BETTER than how it looked originally. Spacers, lower the car and have called it a day...nice, quiet, problem free and then just change things out as they went bad. All this modding on the TL has driven me to be LESS mod likely on future rides. KISS, keep it simple STUPID!

Jeremy that is a great direction...ego will always pump up every now and then but in the end, its us who needs to control it and not the ego controlling us
I think every member who checks the ego at the door has been very helpful and has taught a lot of members (atleast me) a lot....

I agree with you there Jeremy...as far as the crazy mods go...I don't think there are a better looking set of wheels than those gunmetal Aspecs. That's why I painted (powdercoated in the future) my stockies charcoal. I have done some minor mods though...like dipping the grill, debadging etc., but nothing performance wise. The one thing that really bugs me about how the car looks is the way the stock exhaust tips sit in the rear Aspec lip...might just get the tips extended so they are flush, and oh yeah, those spacers. I do believe less is better.

^that's because WISE!
There are 2 sides to the coin and yes, I do love that my car looks very different than almost any other TL out there, but at what cost? Extend exhaust tips, spacers on your stock wheels, lower her (looks like you already did) and DONE. DONE DONE DONE DONE. Keep the headlights polished and protected, keep all seals fresh with shin etsu, change oil/tranny fluid at interval and replace things like noisy factory amp and corroded rain channel covers and that's it. Too far, I have gone.

Good thing is you are changing your mindset just in time for the S2K. That car will go down in history as revolutionary for Honda. It should last you a very long time. Imagine how sweet it is going to be 10 yrs from now for you to drive around in a lightly modded S2K that looks sportier than the original but not over done like the rest of the ones out there will like like by then. Classy!
