Feeling unmotivated...
also, been fixing up an 04 Accord for my old boss. Make a little side money although when I divide up how much time I put in vs how much he's paying me, it's less than minimum wage.
What day was it that Meko will be down again?

That's my birthday ^.
Rockstar, sorry for the spontaneous posting :p. I've been stalking your thread as I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with the grille of my car. I've got a body shop appointment scheduled on the 24th and don't know if I want to black out the grill or not. Do you have the whole thing blacked out or just the chrome trim?

Nice color rims, I did my original rims with Black Plasti Dip which gives it a matte black look, have to get the spray for the shine look. Even with this I get compliments. You must get lots of compliments on the look. Hows the ride with the 19"?
#7739
JJH...do it, man...even if you don't end up liking it, you can sell a professionally painted NBP grill to ANYONE else since everyone loves the black grill. I did it all, other than the grey "v" area below the A bar.
Thanks man, yeah, I get compliments sometimes...I appreciate it. Ride on 19's isn't too bad...roads around here are decent though so it doesn't kill me. 18's were definitely a smoother ride.

Tyler, always keeping me honest.
Well everyone, after 3 years almost...I got the itch. Not sure I'm really the definition of a whore, since so much time passed but I did decide to start taking a browse on wheel flip. I had been itching to drop back to an 18" wheel for a few reasons. Namely, a bit smoother ride, cheaper tires (by about $200 it seems) and if you're serious about dropping some lbs...bigger rim isn't the way to go.
So, seller was a really nice guy, the finish was what I was looking for and what I thought the works would be when I ordered them. Gunmetal with a custom polished lip. They're +29 all around 18 x 9" square setup. Rotating is important to me. I opted for a 225/40/18 to avoid rubbing and keep weight down.
At the end of the day, I'm down to just over 41 pounds. Feel is incredible.
Another update is I did install RUJELLLY'S engine damper...the oem one had absolutely ZERO rebound after 10 years and 96k miles. What a difference, even my wife was like, "wow, your car is so much less jerky now".
Also, saw bzyrice's old TL at the pembroke pines Acura dealership...getting a new motor after a hydrolock (and continued to drive it)
And this has been my little project keeping me busy
Made a little side cash fixing it up for my buddy...he got it for a great deal and honestly, it drives awesome.

Pics of wheels coming...I would SOOOO do a teaser set of pictures but I promised Tyler I wouldn't. Since, you know...people do teasers until people end up saying "dude, you're not that important to me". Yes sir...she sits LOW now...FTG is same, but looks lower for some reason and trust me, even Betty noticed how much more effortlessly the car accelerated now with lighter wheels.

Anil knows now...I think he does want the RS2. Not sure of the difference, but I am in love with these.
Thanks Kurt and Meks...
On car, all I did was lower rear a tad more, since I'd been meaning too since the camber adjust and the less weight in trunk raised it up some. Looks perfectly even now.
Also, using hub rings and some rtv silicone, I was able to make some center caps, may still get the advan ones though.

I love you and I hate you
You know you are the reason I mod my car (as in visual)
Now I want rims again
and Anil as in performance
Looks AWESOME
Big reason why I loved them is, color match. Headlights, fogs, plastic on bumpers, side markers all have gray tone in them. Now rims joined
Don't you have to go lower with that stretched tire?
Center caps look good. If you paint the "A" to silver and surrounding to black, might match better?
Oh just thought about it, you not lowering it because you going to relax the bushings and see where it drops?
If my math is correct, and yes it always is these rims sits 1mm more out than the old ones you had....
and let me guess, you didn't touch the spacers right?
what's up with these mods lately?
oh making it ready for me
This shot is mine
