I had a blaze orange metallic rsx-s.
Still see it from time to time...new owner seems to take care of it.
Prior to that, Electron Blue Pearl EP3 Si
Prior to that 1997 Accord Sedan. I lowered, and wheels. First car I put money into.
But, I cut my teeth, mostly, with the TL.
PS, no worries, the other tails are back on. I have to say, I do love the slightly modded, but oem look of both. Debatable on which look better depending on the look you're going for.

I see my old CL-S from time to time too...but, the new owner has completely butchered the front lip of the Versus kit on the car. It looks horrid now...
And lovely pics as always.

Your modded Type S lights are some of my favorite out there. I'm very partial to the stock Type S lights to start with though, which I suppose has a lot to do with it. So much so that I've never even considered modding mine. If I did, it would be what you've done though.

Both tails look great Jeremy....
your swapping continues LOL...
I wish you would have gone with the W212 roof spoiler, it would have added sooo much more to the look....

Ok, since both tails looks Awesome
I will go with my rule "why I don't like Type-S tails" <-- You remember that
Which was the clear lens of Type-S tails, that makes the details less noticable from far distance, or the tail light
Red lens though, way more noticable and looks hot
Stands out more, unlike clear lenses
That's why I always wondered how black bezel looks with red lenses, because I want it
Keep the reds

Dude, I know...I was into it, and I appreciate Danny's offer to help make it work but I wasn't 100% sold on the final product and for the effort it would take to make fit and THEN paint. Plus, Betty was like, EWWW GROSS. lol

Not fair, you can't do that after I already said it. Done, now avoids me and won't return my calls or texts.
Thanks for the update, Steve...
Ha ha, I should start modding base reds for people. LOL...the red lens is very forgiving too. Oddly enough, prior to the weekend ending, everyone was like, fk that, I like the type s looking modded ones, now everyone loves the red modded ones. I have to be honest, I can't pick which I love more so I'll likely keep em both! I actually have plans to mess with another set. I guess once I make up my mind, I'll start selling some sets. Fund other projects etc...
J.
Thank you for all the comments and compliments!

J, the Type-S looking tails are my favorite, I love the black bezel, especially on NBP.
As for the roof spoiler...I need moar pics!
Also, when is the next meet? I need to see it in person.

There were MANY pictures of it at different angles on the previous page.
Honestly, I'd be very down for another small meet like we did...or instead of a park, maybe we could pick a place to just grab lunch and meet up in a parking lot in the afternoon/evening.

Dat ass is looking pretty spectacular these days!! Incredible how those deck and roof spoilers take it to a whole other level.
Making me jealous.....i gotta get my hands on a Type-S spoiler to whip my ass into better shape.
Nice work!

Thanks, man!
ahhhh!!!!
Thank you, MAS. Never mind my azz, you get the SC figured out?
I appreciate the compliment...the more I see it, the more I realize that I used to avoid shooting my car from behind because I wasn't a big fan of all angles of it. That problem is gone now! And to be honest, now that I got rid of the tall spoiler, I despise it. lol.
It's not a type s though...it's a CSL rear spoiler and the ebay oembwm roof spoiler.

I'm sorry MEKO, ahead of time.
But MAN do I NOT miss my old spoiler one fkn bit. It's crazy to me how I convinced myself that I loved it with the spoiler because it was just easier to keep it and not spend the money. Removing it was an ordeal that cost a lot of money and LOTS of time. But in the end, I'm super fkn happy.

To pull off the wing, you need to have a car that well...looked like J's. Low, wide and modded.

Austin, I have been telling Jeremy since page 30, that I think his car will look soooo much better without the wing....
if you see the wing, it makes the rear look small....we all like a wider rear and the wing does not do justice to the lines of the car....
I am glad he once and for all changed his mind on the wing....now if only he can decide on tail lights LOL....

If I turn my car into a track only car, I might buy Rex's old wing

If you buy any wing Rex has had on his car, I will personally slap you out of dem flip flops you wear in every set of your reflection pictures.
Honestly Anil, part of me liked being one of the only ones with the trunk spoiler and from SOME angles it DID look good (mostly the angles I would ONLY capture the car from). Over time I convinced myself I was okay with it but every time I'd see a stock TL driving down the road, it looked so good with no spoiler, I was secretly jealous. MEKO was my biggest advocate for the spoiler and that's why I feel badly openly bashing it now. I think it flows well with the lines of the car but with the car being slammed and so sleek and bullet like, it really juts up too high and makes the azz end look like it's too tall.
Thanks ThanGGGGGGG! Yeah, it's really funny, didn't think I'd get too many that liked the modded base reds but there are lots...there's something about that red on the black and white cars that do look awesome and with the subtle changes like the bezel being black and no lower reflector showing through, it's just enough to make it look modded and mean. As far as the back and forth now, honestly, I was good with teh modded type s's but when I put them back on now, I kinda liked the look of the reds...in addition, the right side type s, which had a chip in the corner and spider web cracking on the lens that comes and goes (which was why i decided to give cutting them a go anyway) leaked when I put them back on on Sunday. Rained Monday and it was drenched inside...i don't know why...maybe I will start running a bead of RTV around like the vendors and Sharky do.
