Thanks everyone!! Sorry for the delayed response, I've been SUPER busy working on a buddy's car lately and a few small projects on the Type-S.

KJ, the kit I bought came with all the pieces together. It was the ACURA bumper inserts, the CF insert front emblem AND acryllic inserts so the CF sits flush with the "A" instead of recessed, inserts for the rear emblem and for the steering wheel as well. I purchased all of them together for $80 but it seems you can get the whole kit without the steering wheel CF for $70 here on ebay from USR's account (Fishcake321). I think its a fair deal for "real cf."

$80 kit

There are pics of the rest of them:

Now for new business!

This past weekend was pretty busy. I painted my engine covers although they still need a few coats of clear and I installed the following on my buddy's 04 SSM 6MT you all have seen a few pics of already;

We did:
-Comptech SS
-Vinyled center aluminum trim in 3m di-noc (silver)
-fully vinyled center console trim with black 3m-dinoc
-3k HIDs in the fogs
-Replastidipped entire grill and rear trim
-Wired up and installed 2 10" cheapo subs and amp I got for free
-polished headlights using Meguiars better 30$ kit (included 1k and 3k sanding pads and UV protection) I thought it did a pretty amazing job for a "kit" that took less than 25 minutes total... We'll probably redo them and vinyl them with some 3m Venturesheild stuff that I also purchased for my headlights
-Painted all my engine covers with primer and paint, still have to do clear.

I also threw on my vossens as the new tires arrived for them and will be having them installed asap.

Here are a few pics:

Thanks everyone. Just a quick update:

I definitely recommend buying Tein SA coils from XLR8; My buddy picked up a set for what I thought was a great deal (under 900 including shipping, same deal I got from them one year ago)

Paid Monday, shipped Monday, and the arrived today. Just finished installing the fronts

Pics coming!?

Here's a quick pic of the drop in the front. This was my first time doing suspension work myself and I was really surprised at how quickly we got the front done. I've watched and seen it done a couple times before so I kind if knew what I was doing

All in all we got the front done in about 2.5 hours including chicken wings and pizza and swapping too hats. We chose to separate it by doing the fronts one day and the rears in a few days so the exact drop is yet to be determined

Haha well as much and I love CF I haven't ever really been a fan of wrapping bjg body panels in that Dinoc. I think it's great for small accent pieces but not for a big exterior panel lol.

I forgot to mention I'm planning to leave my roof black. I also ordered a bunch of squeegees and felt vinyl rollers. Also picked up a heat gun and will use a blow dryer to avoid damaging the vinyl. BTW I ordered the medium size car kit from AutoVinylSolutions and it's the 3M 1080 Scotchprint series vinyl. It was pricey but I splurged. Again.

Been busy the last few weeks, but have a couple updates.

Vossens were back on for a bit but are now getting new tires put on. I'm back to road tripping on the aspecs which have better tread.

Also wrapped my cousins roof in black. It was a bit more challenging than I remembered but we got it done and it came out pretty nice.

I had to remove my tint because I got a ticket. My vinyl is on back order so the car won't be ready to be wrapped for another couple weeks. apparently the color I selected has been extremely popular and so 3m has been having production issues. I guess it's a good thing that its so popular but I'm hoping the quality won't be sacrificed since they're rushing to push out orders.

damn....

Q, i used to carry 35% (legal) tints in the trunk and that got me out of multiple tickets...if an officer stopped me, I used to tell him that I am getting them replaced and I have the legal tints in the trunk....never got a ticket until i ran into a smart cop, I cudnt play that card anymore

Thanks guys!

I'm currently in Toronto and the weather had been bipolar. No pics yet the c will get a good detail when I get back tomorrow and I've set up a photoshoot with my guy this weekend finally. I figured I'd get some last pics of it as nbp before my vinyl comes in

Swoosh; that's actually a really good idea haha. Honestly it was way illegal and I was tired of feeling apprehensive around cops. I'm most likely going to retint it 35% all the way which is still illegal but not as bad as the 11% on there now haha

Im rocking 30 all the way around with the white interior and luckily that keeps them from looking too closely. But you have the black (lucky bastid) and even 35 might be too dark man

Jeremy, actually, it was the same cop who had pulled me over for the 2ns time and when I gave him the same excuse he was like "deja vu" and gave me a ticket LOL....

now that I had a ticket with tints on my record, I could not pull off the "i was going to get them replaced" card anymore

Well guys, interesting and unexpected news.

Randomly came across one of my dream classic cars on Craigslist and couldnt pass it up.

I ended up purchasing the car today. E30 1987 BMW 325is with a fully rebuilt engine and body work and paint as well as a few other mods. Couldn't pass it up!

Because I dumped a bunch of money into this, the TL will be slightly demodded. I'm most likely going to sell the Vossens but am trying to think of any way possible to keep them. Also going to cancel my vinyl order since I could use that money. Plus Autovinylsolutions.com told me 3M placed a second backorder on the color I wanted and the ETA is now the end of August

For now, the TL will stay black and on Aspecs

BUT. I have a new toy.
