All you need now are the '07/08 Type-S tail light assemblies.

Nice work dude! And take that from someone who knows
.

Thank you! I'm not a fan of the Type S taillights. I had them for about a year and got so sick of them.

So content with my build
Drove with my windows down for the first time in a while and heard clicking on take off and stopping. Remembered my old TL had the same issue and did more research and it pointed to worn axle nuts. When I changed my axles, I reused the nuts and just did some ugga duggas with an impact. Got new nuts and torqued them to spec and the clicking went away. Yay for easy fixes! Happy New Years!

Simple fixes are the best.
Shit, you just got me thinking I need to check the torque on the Odyssey...one side definitely makes a clicking noise...almost like a thunk thunk thunk under certain conditions.
I did the axles a few months back and I bet they should have been replaced too.

Probably needs 1 or 2 more ugga duggas!

Update: Had the red stripes for almost a year now and got the itch to do something different. Ossman14 sourced a clean set of 07-08 taillights and got the pinkish-red chrome bezel and the lenses painted with candy red tint to darken them up. Exactly the look I was going for! Now the clear brake light lens matches other parts on the car like the wheels and the red isn't so bright.

Car is also going in for a laundry list of maintenance. Not all items are pictured but the TL will be getting a new Luk clutch kit, Oem release bearing, Aasco lightweight flywheel, Oem slave with the check valve removed, Exedy em2 spec clutch master which also deletes a check valve, Oem engine and trans mounts, front and rear crank seals, oil pump seal, ac compressor, timing belt, and valve adjustment. She'll be running great for another 15 years!

That is fire! Hard to believe base tail lights look better, but balance is key... Less is more and did it ever pay off!

I'll up-vote that rear shot as an avatar pic!

Thank you! I wasn't a huge fan of how the red stripes looked washed out in certain lighting. If the contrast was there all the time, I probably would've kept them. I think the new ones look cleaner and match the car more. Clear brake diffuser, clear headlight corners, the turn signals on the mirrors...

Thank you! Trying to do things the right way this time around. Maybe the silver TL would have still been around if I had the same mentality then...

Check valve removed from the new slave. Shoutout to Jimmyfu for the help.

Another pic of the rear with the new tails. I love how they're not super dark but not as bright and pinkish as they were before tinting the internals

Dude I put it in upside down too LOL. Took us 15 min to find something that would reach it from the other end. Can’t take credit for removing that c clip though. I really wanted to avoid notching it

Car is back and feels amazing and so smooth! On top of all the parts I listed earlier, I also got the XLR8 engine torque damper, SS braided clutch line, front swayer bushings, and a new oil pump.

For anyone curious, I created a full parts list of what I bought for the recent maintenance, along with the part numbers and quantity.

Beautiful car.

How is the light output from those Depo projectors? I've been wanting that set but was worried the projectors quality wouldn't stand up against OEM.

Thank you. Honestly they’re way better stock projectors that have the original lens. But OEM projectors with ZKWR lenses (tuned properly) are a bit better than these. The Depo come with clear lenses so you get a pretty nice cutoff.

Took the HIC roof spoiler off because I wanted a smaller one, but then fell in love with how it looked without one. Also, back to red stripes but the internals were tinted with real clear coat this time and not vht.

It looks cleaner... I personally feel like roof spoilers are tacky and ricey, IMO...

I don't know why I was being so indecisive. So I sold my HIC roof spoiler then missed it. Bought another one and then thought it just looked so rice and massive so I took it off 2 days later and sold it again LOL. I think it total between both of my TLs, I bought 4 or 5 HIC roof spoilers and sold them every time. I finally learned my lesson and won't be purchasing it again. Also, I finally convinced myself (along with the help of Dave) to get a Raceseng Slammer. Got the brushed finish with the engraving and the shift boot collar. I absolutely love it! First the Leatherique and now this... I need to stop talking to Dave
