Yeah, that'll be a picture you look back on when she's gone and think...why the hell did I sell her. Ask me how I know...
Really? Is it in need of paint or you're bored?
I see pics of my old TL and even though she was a little problematic b*tch, I still miss her... The paint is in great condition, I just have a couple mismatches, and my painter who did my bumpers and lip kit is hooking it up for dirt cheap and does amazing work. I wanted to do a color change but it'll just be a fresh coat of DGP and maybe a black roof. You should check out his work, its actually phenomenal... @teamtwinkie on IG..
Got some new wheels, threw on my old tinted taillights, installed new axles, front upper and lower control arms, outer tie rods, and lower ball joints. Car feels brand new No more axle wobble, and the front end feels much smoother and tighter.
We knew that...
that car is wellllll maintained.
What ended up being the fate of your silver one?
I dig these wheels...I'm not shocked at the wheel swaps...I'm shocked that you find so many wheels with the perfect fitment for your car.
Looks great as always!
Love the green, such a rare color. Tail lights look so sick!
Thank you!!

Haha, they asked me to come test fit for brake clearance.. fell in love with it, sold my wheels the same day, spent $90 out of pocket. I had to! Lol

I am trying my best to do the proper maintenance on this car. I skimped out on my old car and it just started falling apart. I wish I did the front suspension a while ago because it feels sooo much better now. My silver one is just.... meh. He swapped the motor and all that, but said it started misfiring again. Still hasn’t even registered it either and it’s approaching a year since I sold it, got towed here n there. I just try not to pay so much attention to it.
Didn't like how the blacked out headlights clashed against my wheels so I picked up a set of stocks, restored them to their original glory, and cleared them out, along with the ZKWR lens and DGP passive demon eyes which are very subtle. Wetsanded with 1k, 2k, and 3k on the outer lens, followed by plastic polish with a dual action and a nano-coating. Did plastic polish by hand and nano-coating on the inner lens as well.

Took off the carbon trunk lip, have a new one which will get thrown on once it is painted along with the rest of the car. Removed my interior wrap on the wood grain. Planning on sending the wood grain for some special treatment while the car is apart for paint as well. New shift knob from We Are Likewise, an Australian company. Love the quality, weighs 1 pound, looks great, and feels great! Looking into getting some different taillights but not sure yet. Also polished out my subframe, which you can see in the third picture. Flows nicely with the rest of the chrome/silver on the car, and I like how it matches the polished mufflers in the rear wheel well.
Lot has been going on this past month! Car got a full makeover. Started with getting all of the orange woodgrain in the interior hydrodipped. Then I got my front and rear bumper with lips painted to match the car better as well as all the matte black painted gloss black and the grille and rear license plate strip color matched to the car as well. I sold the K&N Typhoon intake and bought an Injen cold air since I liked the polished finish and it matches my polished RV6 strut bar. While the car was sitting in pieces, I noticed my car battery died and it was the infamous HFL unit going out. I unplugged it and bought the USASPEC BT45-HON3 as sort of a replacement for calls and music and I love it. I also got help from another member to change out my front two door lock actuators as both were not working ever since I bought the car. I purchased a set of red stripe taillights as well from another member on here. While the bumper was off, I installed CBIs but am honestly disappointed in the color, but they are super bright. Lastly, I sold the Aodhan DS06 and purchased a set of Work CR Kiwamis. Yes, I am missing the center caps still, they are on their way.
I love seeing a cool TL build like so many did 10 years ago! It shows how great these cars still are! Not to mention the rare DGP!
Diggin' those tails, BTW!
Keep it up!

Thank you! I ran black chrome and machined wheels pretty much the whole time with this car, wanted to try something different. I was skeptical about the white but I love how it looks!
I give it another month, it'll be on different wheels...
I dare you to get them dipped in the same hydro as the interior pieces.
Fucking fire.
Hey! I've been better about it! I don't change wheels as often as I used to! But honestly, I want to keep these for some time. With the price point of everything out the door, I can't justify rocking them for just a couple months...

I think it would be too, but I made other aspects of the car match a lighter wheel color, like the headlights for example. Plus I wanted to do something different than what I have been doing on this car for over a year and my old TL for three years before that...
