you swap your tails more often than I swap underwear. lol I like the type-s tails better though
Haha, I had them already... I just wasn’t feeling how bright they were and I liked the % tint I had on my base tails, so I ordered the same tint for the type s one.
Few updates, painted my calipers gold, but ,may change it up, and also swapped my Tein SB out for BC Extreme Lows, 12k front/14k rear. Love how they ride but these coils are a little harsh, at least I'm not rubbing everywhere with the stiffer rates. I dropped the rear about .25 inch as well. Pics soon
Tein is the way...
when you get older you won't deal with that harsh ass ride!
Tein was comfortable but it felt very unstable to me.. On big dips it almost felt like I was losing control of the car with how much is would compress. It feels much more stable now but just need to get used to the slightly noisier ride and stiffness
curious, what rear camber kit do you have?
what you're describing sounds like when I had some ebay lower alignment arms with shitty bushings.
Currently have all stock arms. Bushings are all good. Ever since I swapped to BC I lost that feeling though, so I know it was the Tein just being too soft... I also didn’t like how had to have my collars removed to get to my desired height. I like having more adjustability on the BC and I feel more confident driving

Should go with the Flex Z. More adjustability. Probably would have been able to get the drop you were looking for on those. And still keep a nice ride too. BCs are nice still. Just.....harsh. Lol. Can't wait to see the new pics tho.

Didn’t want to run Tein. I needed stiffer spring rates and Tein doesn’t offer that.

In agreement with numairh, my Teins (SAZ) in corners with bumps is scary.

Good point. They do have a LITTLE stiffer spring rates available but nothing crazy like BC tho. Tein has always been more for comfort for their street suspensions.
Hehe, did something! Listed my ESR for sale just because and they sold 12 hours later for my asking price. I also got OEM Type S side markers all around and the fronts are modified to shine white.

that does look excellent...love it.
I'm so friggin close to doing the burnt copper on the CTS-V but since the finish is still intact and not yellowing on the factory silver, I have been reticent to touch it.
Just curious... what sunshade is that and how is the fitment on it? I've been looking for a custom fit one to avoid the dash cracking.
Thank you, it is the covercraft sunshade, perfect fitment and actually works, my car stays much cooler.

Thanks man! Mine were pretty much mint as well so it hurt a bit sanding that and redoing them
Repainted the calipers, went back to chrome lug nuts, and installed side splitters as well as Type-S rear mud guards, I rattle canned them DGP and it came out pretty good for $40. Front splitter should be in soon.
