I got it done by a guy on the 3G TL Facebook page. I didn't do it myself.

Darn. Looks like it's time for me to try something new. I found a similar design that I plan on using so it's just trial and error from here. Out of curiosity, how much did the guy charge you?

that's definitely not an oem intake.
bulbs is a big job!
hey...so...the lightweight pulley is back on.
I could swear the car felt heavier...if that makes sense...
had to give it more beans to get going netting me worse mpg.

fuck it, if it was unbalanced I'd have known it over the course of the last 60K miles.

Luckily my HVAC bulbs have been going strong. It was just the steering wheel, seat warmer bulbs (replaced them last year), and the memory seat bulbs. I didn't think to order the memory seat bulbs at the same time so I just wasted another $11 for shipping. My local dealership is closed . I'm glad you put it back on. I'm pretty sure the problem has something to do with the electronics.. alternator, ground, etc, but just speculations. The pulley made a big difference, flywheel even more. I remember I drove a 6mt with the stock pulley and I had the same reaction. It just felt heavy. If it was unbalanced, I'm sure problems would've started almost right away. But if you need extra help diagnosing, I'll text you my address. Just ship it here. You may or may not hear from me again though

Friend took some more pics of my car. The interior shot and that roller are my favorites out of the whole set.

Why does everyone keep saying it isn't a type s. I already swapped the vin plates to UA7. Thanks J, it means a lot coming from someone whose TL I looked up to before I even had a license.

I think you just called him old in a very respectful way lol but it’s okay, he’s a sexy silver fox 😜
But yes that interior looks great along with the whole car

Thank you! I have some tails getting made by another member (Ossman14) at the moment. Besides that, I was ready to pull the trigger on a cup kit for my coilovers but the company is based in the Netherlands. So with the virus closing a lot of businesses, and the time it will take to ship here with all the delays, I have to wait until everything dies down. I was hoping to install it by this summer but oh well.

I mean, I'm 21 so me not having a license was not too long ago. I was lurking on Acurazine since 2011/2012 since a family member had an 08 CBP. Fell in love with that thing.. J already texted me with his feelings hurt but I consoled him

I hear accuair will be running some pretty sweet sales for a full air setup
Thanks notch, and num...
I'm double your age...so...
and 21! You seem a lot more mature.

People only compare to a Type S usually as the mecca top of the line...
so I'm saying that even not being a type S I think I'd choose your color
combo. I've owned both and there isn't THAT much of a difference.

Only 21? Dang man well you are obviously pretty motivated and get things done-respect.
Do you have any tail lights sitting around you wanna sell? My car is silver and sometimes I don’t like the look of the type s ones. Plus one is cracked

That means you’re just getting broken in.. It would be nice for it to be a Type S but not really a big deal. I’ll take this color combo over it being one. A manual ASM Type S came into my work 2 months after I bought the DGP too. I was already shocked this one was manual since I’d only seen 2-3 in the time I worked there. Didn’t want to take a risk waiting for something “better” to come.

Thanks man. The red stripes have a price tag. I’ll send you a pm with info. They’re pristine

do you want to know something crazy...
when i first opted to fuck with base reds to make the red stripes and
the super reds they were SOOOOO cheap to buy on ebay!
I'm a moron for helping create a demand for them.

I actually thought about trying to find a set of reds...
I have some DEPO type S that I did a black bezel on but one of
them opened a little and has dust so I'd need to clean and reseal it.

Thanks to your experimentation, we have better looking taillights though! I need to get a cheap busted set and practice opening them

want to know the secret?

don't fuck with tyc or eagle eyes, they are too flimsy to work with...depo and oem work...
oem is best.

inner edge is a 2 piece so make the cut in various passes...around outer perimeter do it with a light above your head...you'll see chrome and know you went deep enough
when you see it instead of black. then clean up the edges carefully and remove slag...and use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry apart...even getting the bezel in and out,
i had a method.

Installed the strut king pedals. Straight forward install just not much room to drill the holes. Also gave a reupholstery shop a sample of my seat. Getting the cracked panels on the driver seat fixed finally.

Nice! Love that Camel color!

Let us know how much the seat repair costs... I need to redo both front seats in the RDX. 14 years of street parking has taken it's toll on the seats and paint.

I love it too! My friends were all telling me to swap the black from my SSM but something about this color combo just looks perfect to me. To replace the damaged panels (2-3) I was quoted about $275. I'll let you know after all is said and done.

Lol so I got my new taillights from Kyle. The work is great but they simply don't look good on my car. I sold them an hour after installing and put my red stripes back on. These tails look best on WDP, NBP, and SSM/ASM imo.

My seat is no longer a crackhead. For those asking how much it was, it cost $320 to replace the 3 perforated panels on the bottom seat.

Time really flew past me. Still remember the day I bought it like it was yesterday. New front end links and mirror actuators installed. Mirrors no longer have a mind of their own!

Not gonna lie.. I've been contemplating raising it half an inch. I miss being able to drive it anywhere I want but I have another car for that so I talk myself out of it every time. After being this low for a long time, it wouldn't look right to me raised up.
