I think if one turned up as a 6MT, wasn't black and was under 2K...I would have to seriously consider it regardless of mileage.
but I'm definitely not on the hunt.
In addition, I know realistically how much money is involved in going from a stock looking one which is just okay looking, to
what you've done to yours and I'd rather put that money into something else at this point in my life. If I found a good one, I'd
do the timing service, throw some springs on with aspec wheels and call it a day...(that's where it starts, then you go new pads
and bushings and used jpipe and used exhaust and intake and wow look at that deal on wheels but I'll need new tires, better go
look up prices...better get the sound system taken care of).
but I'm definitely not on the hunt.

Well, I certainly don't knock anyone that is passionate about it and is keeping the car for a long time and isn't lazy. Aka YOU...
lol...I'm just at a different point with my cars...I love them but I try not to get too into them financially to be able to easily get back out.
I still appreciate the effort put in!

Looks Great! Very well thought out and it pays off!
Agree with Jeremy on some of it, but also agree with OP. My auto isn’t worth much to anyone, but I get enjoyment out of the simple mods, and driving it.

So I had my wheel off and saw fresh grease sprayed everywhere. Stomach sank a bit because I knew it was from the axle I had waited on a 3 month backorder for from Acura just a few months prior. These axles have seen 5 months and 2-3k miles. Luckily Acura warrantied it out and the shop foreman at my work let me use a lift to swap it out.

Camber angle? What is eating them up like that?
In all seriousness...you're not cheap...spend the cash
and buy a set of raxles from Marty if that happens again.
It's a few hundred more, but it's got some patented
boots and better grease that shouldn't have that happen.

I'm sure Marty is a good guy, but he rarely has the 6MT's in stock and BOTH Paul, our star master mechanic her in North Jerzy, and my best bud from high school who owned an auto parts store for 25 years say DON'T USE REBUILT AXLES! There are good cheap ones from rockauto that work just fine, and they cost less than Marty's Raxles to boot! I have rockauto axles, and I've had no problems with them.

I bought the Blue TL-S with some non-oem axles and they were pretty new and vibrating badly.
It made me scared to use anything but.
If I were doing it over, I wouldn't have wasted the money on Raxles for upgraded boots and grease
BUT that's because I didn't run extreme angles and didn't have boots busting. Which Rockauto
brand specifically have you had good luck with?

Seat covers finally installed. Forgot how much of a pain these were to put on. My fingers and upper body are killing me. I wish they were a bit darker. I knew they wouldn't be a perfect match to the other plastics and leather in the car. I actually installed the first seat and was contemplating ripping it off and selling them but I wanted to give them a chance since I waited 3 months for them to come in. After I installed everything, it looked much better and has grown on me already.

Got my car's paint corrected and ceramic coated. Didn't think the paint was that bad but it looks 10x better after. Removed and sold the seat covers because I thought there was just too much going on in the interior. Ordered the Leatherique kit as recommended by Sockr1 to get my stock seats and clean as they can be. Pictures are from a show that my friend, Andrea, and I went to last weekend.

Did the leatherique treatment and wow! Pictures will explain everything. Also swapped in a resonated mid pipe which made the ATLP sound perfect and super refined.
After 24 hours of letting the rejuvenator oil seat, I swiped the bolster to show the difference and how much dirt was lifted out.
Driver's seat done.
Before and after of the driver's seat. It isn't perfect due to the cracking which isn't fixable. Plan on doing one more round to the front two seats to get them even better and am looking to replace the driver's seat.
Can see the difference on the armrest.
Finished product, no glossiness and it looks like a totally different tan.
The water after cleaning off just the front two! As per Sockr1 request lol. Leatherique FTW!

So, after I did the Leatherique treatment to my seats, I realized how dirty the rest of my interior was so I cleaned the carpets and seatbelts. The front two carpets were really bad and the driver seatbelt was really bad ever since I bought the car. Back of the car was clean, didn't bother taking pictures since it didn't look much different after.
Before on the passenger side. Dirty mainly up on the sides.
After shampooing 3 times.
Now this was the bad one. Last owner wore through the carpet floor mats and left his footprints and a crap ton of dirt on the carpet.
After shampooing 3 times. Not perfect but I was getting lazy. The black spots are covered by my all seasons anyways. Will revisit this later.
Driver seat belt. You can see what is cleaned and still dirty.

LORD have mercy, did that smell like wood chips and joop??!!
Ewwww...
I had never really thought about it but after getting teh S4 I
did a round of woolite and water on all surfaces people's hands
touch and I was appalled at how black the water got.
I actually need to do the carpets in the Yukon after a leaking
heater core put antifreeze in the cabin floor. I actually just bought
some chemical guys fabric clean that I'll dilute and use in a spray
bottle with a brush attachment for the drill. I'm hoping for similar
results!
