Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum. I'm still trying to decide what color combo to go with, especially interior. So far my heart is set on ebony, but i'd still like to see some better pictures of other interiors, especially parchment and camel. So far iv'e only primarily seen photos of ebony and quartz. Maybe if all the pictures are gathered in one thread it'll make it easier on anyone who is in a simliar situation as me, trying to decide what interior color to go with.

Pictures look great! I am going for an anthracite/ebony w nav. Hope to have it by the end of the
month. Are the brushe aluminum door sills that say Acura standard? I never really noticed them
before

 

 

I would also like to know if the door sills are standard. Are they illuminated also?
If they aren't illuminated, can you purchase illuminated ones aftermarket for the TL?

The aluminum sills are standard. Not illuminated though, not that I know of.

 

I think camel interior looks very nice. However I went with ebony this time. I had black/tan combo before. This is a very handsome combo, however you'll have to work on it to keep it nice. The seat belts tends get dirty fast. If you look at other European cars, such as BMW, Volvo, etc. even though they have a tan interior, they all have black seat belts. Japanese cars on the other hand, tends to match their belt with the interior color. Another thing I didn't like about camel and parchment interior is the fake wood trim. I have to admit they did an excellent job, but still it looked kind of cheap to me to. I'm not saying that fake carbon fiber looks any better, but still I just preferr it over fake wood.

To sum it up, as for looks, I would go with camel or parchment. Just can't beat that two tone look, very sharp. I chose ebony because of its practicality. I know it gets hotter, but I don't mind the heat too much.
