oostevey, that was the DAY you dropped it and you went that low?!?! you got ballz and got your offsets on your wheels and fender roll perfect on the first shot. Nice.

Fender-to-ground = 23". Need a Skunk2 front camber kit asap...starting to hear some clunk clunk on hard bumps.

What are all you guys doing to prevent the UCA's from smacking the shock towers when you hit bumps? I've been getting a lot of that since I lowered my car again and it's like fingernails on a chalkboard every time it happens. Before I raise my car back up, I'm hoping there's a miracle cure I don't know about...

^ go under the car, and look for a dimple from where the ball joint is hitting and drill a hole there. now go to the top and cut out the required size..if its a big hole, its recommended to reweld a cover over it for rigidity. what UCA are you guys using tho? i have absolutely no issues with my skunk 2...i modified mine but its still the same height.

Yeah, I've seen that before...definitely not something I plan on ever doing.

I'm still stock up front, but I'm really considering the Skunk2 kit. What did you do to modify yours?

Aaron, check out these pictures, courtesy of Marcus (heeltoe), from this thread:

Stock vs. Skunk2 (clearance looks similar..?):

Stock + Ingalls vs. Skunk2:

^That's a drastic difference in clearance!!

Well you wouldn't need to take the ball joints back out of the UCA's since the Skunk2's are a complete replacement. I haven't done too much research, but it looks like they're a simple bolt-on installation.

EDIT: Whoops, just noticed you've been replying to Marcus's other thread, Aaron hehe...

Yeah, I missed out on the GB Marcus was running...sucks. You could buy 4 of the ebay "Ingalls" kits for the price of the Skunk2.

Keeping things OT...just posted this in my progress thread too :

There really can't be much harm in that...
AND, now that you mention it, I BET that's what was bottoming out for me up front, the top of my strut tower bar...remember I said that when the TEIN was maxed it was brutal...I think it's cause I was whacking that top nut from the camber kit!

I'll look above it to see...if there's an indentation, I may just drill it out for clearance and SLAM away!
