Maybe something in a dark gunmetal. Just a little darker than stock silver or maybe a shiny gloss black. Might try both

hahaha i tried something and didnt have enough PD on there for it to peel off....had to go back and sand and repaint

 

From what I remember, you have to put enough layers so that it forms a solid layer so when you peel, it doesn't all apart like a cheap sticker?

My stock wheels are a gunmetal, they came that way when I bought the car used. It looks like some Rustoleum spray paint - not a good job. Thinking about hitting them with some Gunmetal PD, then go over with some glossifier or whatevs. Buda (Sean) has a sweet thread on his recent PD adventures. Check it out:
