Yea lemme atleast get my Aspecs powder coated gunmetal before that!

I really tried to get it off my wrecked TLS but i couldnt get it off with my hands w/o fucking it up. This one i just got is completely debadged so im type s badgeless . I did just order my aspec badge so i think thats the only thing im going to keep on the trunk.

Yea i already got the grill on order along with my red type s badge to put on it just like the other one. My body shop guy is super busy wont be installed for about 3 weeks. As far as modding im sort of torn. my options are with what funding i have is
-Tein SS w/ my edfc
-CF Hood with the sides painted WDP
-black roof
-custom grill

setup 2 is
-full exhaust (pcd,catback,jpipe)
-AEM v2 (which i will prolly wait awhile to order since it really doesnt do a damn thing but make vtec louder.

ive done so many posts and PMs about the grill IN this thread. Anyways last time im posting up about it. I got it from Cmod grills.
-YOU WILL HAVE TO CUT UP YOUR FRONT BUMPER ALOT
-make sure you have a very talented body guy to do this install.
-If he cuts to much your fucked and will have to buy a new front bumper.
-My guy does all kinds of professional work on show cars and stuff. Hes painted all my cars and motorcycles and does all the bodywork i need.

the grill is 199+shipping

ive heard alot of horror stories about ppl installing this grill and dont get me wrong it fits fine but like i said make sure the person doing the install is a legit professional. Acura integrated the front grill into the bumper so theres no way around the cutting. hope that helps.

hey guys sorry i been gone for awhile busy with school and work, but i recently dropped a big order on my car! yay im broke again.

i just got my set of Tein SS coilovers, new EDFC setup, CT short shifter, aem v2, custom grill like on my black one, getting the roof painted black when i get the grille installed and also picked up the Richies strut bar for the edfc. should have everything put together in a few weeks and will snap some pics of the new and improved 08 aspec TLS!.

 

i thought the edfc motor clears the stock fsb? correct me if im wrong. Im thinking of adding a edfc some day along the line.. lol

 

Na if u add a edfc u have to take the OE fsb off because it covers the top nutt where the motor threads on

all these boxes are just piling up in my room! sux going to school full time and working full time. i have zero time to install any of these parts or have any down time. Everything has arrived and will be going on the week of the 7th since im out of class for the week. Anyone know anything about carbon fiber trunks? my friend knows a guy who can make me a CF trunk if he takes a mold of my oem one, but is gonna cost me a pretty penny. i know my car is getting the grille installed, v2 powdercoated and installed roof painted black next week ill post pics soon as its up. As far as the teins sitting in my room i will have to a day soon to install those. going for a 2 1/2in or 2 3/4 drop like on my NBP TLS. well see how it plays out.

 

CF trunk? Crazy shit. I can only imagine how much a one-off piece like that would cost.

CF trunk and CF hood on a WDP would be pretty sweet. But like you said, pretty pricey.

 

yea, the guy who could mold the CF trunk for me also said he can wrap the trunk like professionally, but i dont want to just have CF overlay on the trunk unless im dead ass broke lol.

 

since this car is also steadily breaking the bank i opted for these wheels til i get the money for some volks. lemme know what you ladies think!



think they look great and will be a good set of wheels to have over the summer then sittin on the apsecs. goign with a 18x9.5 et38 setup

 

After hella wrench time this weekend i am proud to say that me and one of my friends managed to put on the tein SS's, EDFC, and CT short shifter. Sounds so much easier listing it then doing it. The TLS is dropped about 2.5in now and going to the body shop to get the rest of my goodies installed this week since im on spring break. Pix coming soon!
