So you removed the shocker sticker, right? Cause there are also a LOT of ricey 95 Civics and Accords out there running with them on there too. Your selective reasoning slays me. lol

i went with the OE plugs NGK 6994. Plus i dont know how for a 100% fact that the guy i bought the car from did keep up with maintenance. So now i do know that the maintenance on the car is good because i did it myself.

Your comparing my reasoning on headlights to what stickers i personally like.

The shocker is something i always put on my cars or motorcycles, so i would rather have a ricey 2 dollar sticker then waste money on ruining the beautiful 3g headlights. Then again i dunno where your from but there isnt many modded cars rolling around durham...and ive yet to see any one with that sticker on their car besides personal friends of mine.

yep.. you have to believe the guy before you beat on it and didn't do one maintenance item since he bought it. Unfortunately I think the guy before me did exactly that.

Still the NGK Iridiums and Bosch Plats will run 100k pretty well even under extreme conditions. So performance gains will probably be minimal changing the plugs early.

Car looks great. What's the story with the grille? You say custom, any more details? IMO the Type-S looks perfect up in the corner as-is. As far as the decal, respect for rocking the car how you want. If you took it off because a bunch of dudes on the internet didn't like it, that would be lame.

You've got some really fast progress going on this car. Everytime I check this thread and see your grill, the more it grows on me. Was it a big pain to hack up the front so it would fit?

preciate it man. Yea im on the forums to get opinions and learn more about the car...not design it the way other people want it.

As far as the grille i got it from

http://cmodgrilles.auctivacommerce.com/

The reason i said "custom" is because the hardware with the grille was trash so i had to get some custom hardware to mount it. After mounting it from under the engine bay, im not 100% sure but the body shop i took it to also used some sort of easy to rubber adhesive for the bottom portion of the grille to make sure it didnt vibrate or get loose. Then i went and ordered a slightly bigger type s emblem from ebay to compensate for the hole in the front. I honestly couldnt be happier with it. It turned out exactly the way i wanted it to.

finally got a few days off and starting the EDFC install. It is a complete bitch. Havnt finished yet, just ran the wires from the rear shocks to the front. Took forever getting the seats out and popping all the panels to tuck the wires neatly. Gonna start running the wires from the engine bay into the car tomm probably and get this thing install. Gonna post pics when its up and rdy!

well hooking up my edfc today was a fail. i ran out of time and managed to get everything working, but im still trying to find somewhere to run my front edfc wires through my firewall into the car. Any suggestions would help besides drilling a small hole into my fire wall.

when i first got my car i always wanted to do the same grille u did...there was this one guy who did a diy thread on this that actually made me want to do it...but i never ended up doing it.

check out his thread its called something like "floating A"
you ever think about taking off the type s from the front and just putting your acura "A" emblem in the front? The hole wouldnt look so awkward and youd still have a sexy mesh grille but filled in with the emblem

all great things must come to an end....thanks to a nice deer i totaled my TL-s last night guys. Luckily noone was hurt. Now gotta wait for the insurance adjuster to check out whats left of it. On the bright side, i can go buy another TLs in a different color now.
