Travelers insurance is working super fast and the car is offically totaled and they are cutting me a check. I have been looking around at cars im still leaning towards a 08 WDP TLS 6spd. But i have seen a few 07 STIs and a 08 335i that sorta caught my eye. Ill keep everyone updated who knows what i end up bring home in a few weeks.

well its safe to say i will be bringing home another TL. In the next week or so ill be bring home a completely Aspec'd out WDP 08 TLS.

thanks eric, i had JUST hooked up my edfc like the day before i wrecked so sad. That was the only thing i could save off my car. Everything else was either completely fucked or bent in some way. Shef almost had me buy an STI over another TL

For everyone PMing me about parts cause its driving me crazy. My car is already gone off to copart to get auctioned off. It isnt my car anymore and i couldnt get anything off of it besides my radar and EDFC controller. Everything else was pretty much broken or bent. I wrecked saturday and the adjuster was already there on monday. I had no time to take nething off the car that wouldnt effect my insurance check. So even if i took out the navigation screen and all that stuff, they would have deducted whatever was missing from my check. So with all that being said. ALL i have is the white navi DVD i took out to sell and thats it. Everything else im keeping to put into my new TLS. Like i said the car is gone, since tuesday its been towed to somewhere in NC to get auctioned off by the insurance company.

 

All the damage was to my side....and front of the car. After hitting the deer the car slid off the road into a bunch of trees in the middle of nowhere in raleigh. It was off lake boone trl. if you know where thats at tyler.

Luckily i got the car for alot lower then KBB price insurance covered the payoff and the mods and labor i put in the car. It was like i totalled a rental or something i barely had the damn car. Thanks for the support though guys.

I'm all for being nice to animals and have the belief that everything is on earth for a reason...but why the HELL do deer have to be so retarded and run out in front of a two ton rolling metal box with intensely bright headlights.

That sucks man. Glad to see you're getting back in a TL-S. The car already having the A-Spec goodies will be a $2K+ weight off your back. And chances are, since its a 6MT with some modification done to the car, it was probably taken care of well by a fellow enthusist.

Lol thanks guys. All you guys on here make me wanna stay in the Acura scene and never leave. I've gotten more support on here then any other forum. When I was looking at STIs I was like....what would my fellow aziners say! Felt like I was cheating on somebody lol. But again thx for the support and expect to see another nasty WDP very soon. I'm already shopping for it.....I really need to find a carbon fiber trunk if ne1 knows of a place. I might go ahead and order some goodies so they'll be waiting when I bring the new tls home!

Yea well after I hit the deer the car went off the road into some trees it was overall a shitty wreck. I say about 40% deer damage and 60% trees.
