lol i dropped some dough on this TL this summer! i dunno for sure if im getting the new wheels before the show, but if i do ill post pics once i get them put on. need to get my fenders rolled and pulled some to get them to fit so we will see.
thanks man i look forward to seeing you at the meet its been awhile. i was going to try to get the side of the hood painted white and get the whole hood reclear coated but i dont think imma have the money unless i dip into the money i have saved to pay for richie's exhaust. But i guess well see how it goes. still got a month to figure it out

yea its VIS, have you gotten yours re clearcoated? and if not has the original clear that VIS puts on there holding up good?
^i bought mine used from a member on here. hard to say how old the hood really is...but i know that he cleared it 2x over the 3-4 year span he owned it.
the clear still looks good, but i may clear it sometime soon with a dark pigment so that it blends in with the NBP paint a little better.

thank you
after contemplating my exhaust situation for awhile, i decided to go with the XLR8 Resonated exhaust like i had on my NBP TLS. After staring a videos and dyno charts there wasnt much of a difference between all the exhaust systems out for the TLs. I couldnt wait for richie to finish the true duals, and i needed to finish my exhaust setup so i went with what i already new sounded good to me and saved me a little money. ill post pics when the exhaust gets here!
btw heres some pics i took from dankfest 2.0 today. I didnt take many since my buddy was there with his photography equipment, ill post his pics tomm when i get a chance to load them up.

This notebook DVD was whored out and kept ending up on random car's wiper blades and my hood prop.......pretty funny actually

my friends kept moving my damn angry bird when i went around looking at cars. My girl is gonna get mad i posted this cuz she said she didnt know she was in the pic

My GF modeling my car and she doesnt even know it!

Na I left at 1 cuz I had to be at work at 4 I didn't see him. The turnout was alot bigger after I left is what I heard. I left pretty early but I'll post more pix later bout to meet up with my buddy to get the pix
Doubtful man I work every Friday and Saturday cuz I'm a bartender. I barely made it to dankfest and that was only an hour away lol. I got up at 8am to head to the show and got back to Durham in time to work 4-1am I was f**kin beat down. Don't think I'm going to any car shows unless I have the day off that shit was rough.
I'll be in charlotte for the 4th to chill with Shef and my niece, you gonna be around Badis?

after not being able to sleep and browsing the photo gallery its official my next mod will be a damn DSLR Camera. Looking at Nikons...besides a forensics photography class which was very informative as far as using DSLR cameras to learn the basics...manipulating shutter speeds, apertures, white balance, reading light meters and the overall mechanics on how camera's work, i still dont know much about digital camera's themselves as far as what specs to look for when buying one. we used the nikon d3000 in class which was okay, but i used my girlfriend's dad's canon rebel instead the majority of the semester.

That hood look really nice man since your car is 6mt did you do the corsport bushing mod yet people say that with the combination of the CTSS and GMSMFM that it give the TL a much better ride and a smoother transition while shifting into gears I know there is a thread about these bushing somewhere I read it once and I cant find it lol b/c I was planning on installing mine before work today

I saw you bailed on the RV6...I don't blame you, I appreciate the work he's putting in in getting it made but the updates are so few and honestly...the price is high.
I'm still trying to nail it down with the use of resonators...I'll let you know how it turns out.

I got the Nikkon d3100 recently...luv it..the newer d3200 didn't get good reviews due to people expecting it to be a big upgrade from d3100...people who bought it said they liked the 3100 better...
Thank you
yea im set on either the d3100 or d5100 which ever i find on sale first. But its gonna be a little while til i spent any more dough because i need to buy a new TV for my man cave and a Ipad for my girl......in that order lol
Na i havnt heard of the bushing mod i dunno wat a GMSMFM is lol to many letters. Ill look into but as of right now the TLS is done draining my funds til next summer. Im glad i finished the majority of the basic bolts on this summer. Going to do mostly cosmetics from here on out until i pay the car off hopefully by next summer and look to boosting it.

^^^I may have to give those bushings a try...can't hurt and reversible. Plus, with my weighted shift knob and short shift kit, it'll probably be awesome.

Ak, I got you man...yeah, I know...the exhaust is probably one of the least bang for your buck as far as cost/hp gains...but you have to add the looks and sound aspect too. Glad you are going to be happy!

i looked into this and from what ive read seems to be a great mod for super cheap. I went ahead and ordered the http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...ducts_id=10844. 33 bucks free shipping and the fluid was like 35 bucks shipped for 3 qts. Thanks for the info

o shit...umm friction modified huh.....well i got a 50/50 shot of getting the right thing LOL. I checked mad threads on it and everyone just said go to http://www.gmpartsonline.net/
and the part number is 12377916. Theres only one thing that comes up when i punched in that part # and im going off the fact that most people purchased it the same way i did with that part number. I will let you know when it gets here. If its the wrong stuff ill try to take it to nearby dealer and see if they'll trade me. i just left the acura dealership picking up the 2 washers that you replace when draining the tranny fluid. Cost me $2.38, if only every trip to the dealership was that pleasant.
