I love the carbon fiber look that continues on to the heated seat switches and cup holders I think it gives a big diff in the interior, as far as the kp roll up I still haven't installed it but when I do that shaved door handle ill do the kp roll up

So i finally get the carbon fiber kit.looks really good and oem.
Unfortunally just like the calipers its going to have to be on hold untill better weather days come.
Instructions read :Install the panel only if the ambient air temperature is above 60f or above.

You'll like the carbon fiber center console pieces, Endless. The OEM carbon fiber is dark, but when you get it in the sunlight, you'll really be able to see the pattern.

I meant , do they make those kits in wood trim instead of CF. I found the seat warmer and cup holder, as well as the rear cup holder in wood but it was $120.

goodoldayz, sorry buddy i believe they only make this in carbon fiber. You should find afthermarket in wood trim with no problem.Ebay has a ton for sale, kind of expensive but wood trim.

So i got it back, CAN YOU SPOT THE DIFFERENCE ?

I love it

I love it
it's either get the three extra pieces for 120, or replace the whole interior with a CF kit for 3x the price !

how did you do the roof ? professional paint job ? it looks like pure glass !

Endless I would say just go with Royal Purple because you will be surprise how much protection it provide, if you can't find RP I would recommend Valvoline full synthetic.

Here is the link to the test result.

^^^ well dont just look into 1 article....

some of the people who do a ton more research (Inaccurate/IHC/etc) use Redline and they use it for a reason....look into it....do some more research and take your decision....

wow. I just read your entire thread... Couldn't stop. Great work man, way to keep it up. Bought my tl-s (6mt) last feb and put 24K miles on in the last year (36,000 when I got it, 59,700 now). Trying to learn as many DIY tricks as possible to save some $ and get some mods done... Thanks for all the posts and keep 'em coming!
Cheers

PS - love the roof, wondering how it would look on my MRP... $500 a little steep though, doing the exhaust first

....
Mobil1 and Royal Purple are NOT in the same class.

I wouldn't touch RP with a 10-foot pole; too much hype, too much $$. In that class I'd go with RedLine.

^^^ Redline has a lot of cleaning agents and therefore you will see the oil disappearing only during extended drain intervals and only for the first few oil changes.....

Thank you for all the inputs,i will look a bit more into it.I do get either syntetic acura or mobil 1 syntetic for free at the dealer.Either way i will be using as always oem honda oil filter.
The key here is to stick to a brand that works for you and change your oil religiously when you should. The filter plays a very big part too.If a filter is cheap its because probably doesnt protect that much. For me oem honda filter only and always,i buy them by the case.I got like 15 in my closet right now.

Which Honda filter? 15400-PLM-A02? The new standard Honda/Acura filter?

Yes Fram is made by Honeywell. Yes the A02 filter is the same as fram filter.

Oil filter question - which model

I thought that somewhere there was a tear-down and comparison of the PLM-A01 vs the re-spec'd PLM-A02, but I can't find it.
