Don't get stuck.

Winter is coming, make sure you inspect your battery terminals. If they are dirty make sure you remove them and clean them.(before removing make sure you got the radio code and navi code). If your to lazy and dont want to remove them, they sell a spray that does a pretty good job,not perfect but good.
A badly corroded battery terminal is enouth to get you in a no start situation .You dont want that when is raining or snowing.Think about it.

Gorgeous car. We have the same color. Hondas when taken care of will run FOREVER. Cars are meant to be driven. My 98 Prelude Type SH was purchased new in 98 then sold in 01 with 155,000 mile to a kid in highschool which he drove another 4 years with no issues.

Just bought the serpentine belt tensioner from ebay for $90.49. Not bad for an OEM honda tensioner(Part# 31170-rca-a04).Pics coming this weekend, afther she gest her overdue wash.

Got it washed.

If your front tires have more than 2/32 than your rear tires you should deffinatley rotate them. You will have no traction in the rain n will spin out. Even with front wheel drive.

Thanks JLEEtheTLking ,deffenaly will rotate the tires this weekend.Last thing i want is to spin out in this beauty.

Together with the tire rotation i'm also doing some minor maintenance. OEM always in hand.

This should have been one of my first posts

Just so i can add to the record,i finally came across a list i made of all the work done in the two first weekends afther i bought it.(4 days worth of work and a few $$$)
Everything in this list is OEM.

-New front rotors
-oil change
-wiper blades
-Trans service(drain refill)
-Lower cooler trans hose(not leaking but moist)
-engine air filter
-cabin air filter
-brake fluid power flushed
-power steering fluid flush
-left/rear tire (leaking and under 3/32 thread)Michellin installed
-timing belt job(new:t-belt,water pump,t-belt tensioner and serpentine belt)
-spark plugs
- wheels balanced(will have to replace them all,all bent)
-floor mats(came with afthermarket ones)
-coolant power flushed
-evap canister solenoid valve(to fix the constant loose gas cap message)
-PCM updated/reflashed with the latest version(to avoid those common lean condition codes)
-both fog light buls(both burn up)
- re-installed arm rest missing screws
-four wheel alignment adjusted
- A/C system recharged
-two dents removed in driver side(paid $50 to a professional that works with the acura dealer)

Since then i have installed a few accessories:
-all season floor mats
-trunk tray
-sunroof visor
-color matched mud guard

Just wanted to add a few pics of my dads car (1995 Toyota Corolla / automatic) ,mainly for inspiration purposes.

In case you guys cant read that, its 285,995 miles.

Things that should make me hate this car....

-HFL unit(hands free link)will eventualy take a crap and drain your battery and if afther warranty it is expensive to replace.
-The oem tl-s wheels look so good but get bent even better.
-The floor carpet on the passenger side by the door has a clip that will break and the carpet will start showing a gap.(seen this at the dealer in at least 1 out of 5)
-The review mirror function in reverse will eventualy make the mirror start cliking or working with a mind of its own.(mine just makes small tiny clicks)
-The dash lights have a life expectancy of like 45,000 miles or 3 years which ever comes first.
-The rear shelf will make noise no matter how low your SUBWOOFER base is or how much insulation you use.(for those of you with warranty use it on this one we got like 2 bulletins on this noises)
-The steering can be a bit hard for a women.
-Front lower control arms, bushings will break. Is just a matter of when.
-Front brembo brakes, depending on the driving habits, will not last more then 30,000 miles.(those pads aint cheap either)
-If you step on it ,you can literally see the gas needle move down.

Im sure there is more that i'm forgetting
.....the truth is,none of this matters at the end of the day i love this car.Puts a smile on my face everytime.

Thanks CLtotheTL32 ,That is my number one goal.I fell in love with it soon as i laid my eyes on it.I also must confess, recently saw a video on youtube about mister Irv Gordon and his 1966 Volvo p1800 ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eu-RsocQlCY)
Pushing close to 3 million miles now.

It inspired me a lot.Makes me wonder, can my Acura acomplish half of what that Volvo already has?
Will see,Only time will tell.

i have a set of those nokya hyper yellows in my DRL's they look sweet during the day and other drivers can easily see you.

nice looking TL-S for the amount of mile she had on her. not a bad price either. yours has just about 100,000 more miles than mine. enjoy it.
