EA....the key to getting great mileage is easy on the throttle....shift at around 2-2300rpm.....coast to stop signs....highway driving....

100% city i get around 21-22mpg
mixed 50-50 i get around 26-28mpg
all highway i get around 34-35mpg

all city i get around 150-160 miles in a half tank (i only fill 1/2 tank or less at a time).....
all highway i get around 475-500 miles in a tank....i do not use cruise control and i only get 475 miles to a tank if am driving at 70-75 mph....any higher and the mpg starts to creep down....

LTxArucAx60 and many more miles to come.

swoosh ,thanks bro. I'm going to drive it like its a Prius.
Dam man i'm jelly, there's no way i can get this car to do 500 miles with one tank.I have done everything mechanicly to get this car 100%(whats next an Inaccurate diet?)i know the diet would work but i really like the way the car looks as it sits.
I hate going to gas stations(specially lately). If granny driving doesn't work for me i may be looking at plan B.
I really don't want to go with plan B ( Diesel).
I'm burning $60 of gas a week, cant continue this way.

not sure if the oil change will yield you higher mpg...you will have to run a severely thin oil to see a gain in mpg (which is not a good idea)

swoosh , yup oil change definitely made no change but it was due.(last lof 07/27/2012 at 133,432 miles)
Managed to squeeze 331 miles out of a full tank,i'm happy with it.I have to realize that 40% of my commute is below 30mph traffic,so not so bad i guess.
Will be testing shell v-power 93

Parked in front of my neighbors g60 corrado.

Performed 04-043 Interior - Rattling From The Rear Shelf Area

So now that im driving her everyday, that noise from the rear shelf/speakers just got too anoying for me so,yanked the seats out and got to work.

original padded tape is just worn out

Putting it back together.

So now the noise is a lot less then before, the design on that rear shelf is not that great.A lot better now,can pump the bass a little higher now.

-One thing i notice this week, when you drive around without the back seat:
People want to race you.Whats up with that?I'm just trying to fix a rattle....lol

swoosh, you got to get it done. What a difference, now i can bring some bass into the mix.

Steven Bell, lol.Thats funny.

The one guy was driving a mini van, the wife (sitting in the passenger seat)keep starring at me,so when light turns green he starts burning rubber.
You could tell the wife was embarrassed.I just went about my commute at a normal pace like nothing happen.

swoosh,Thanks men.

Steven Bell,i agree. My first choice was that gold colour you see on the sti's ,but my wife talk me out of it.I'm glad she did,i love it.
I catch people starring at the calipers all the time.

Fill up log:

- 1st fill up - 251 miles
- 2nd fill up - 246 miles
- 3rd fill up - 245 miles
- 4th fill up - 285 miles
- 5th fill up - 264 miles
- 6th fill up - 265 miles
- 7th fill up - 297 miles
- 8th fill up - 201 miles
- 9th fill up - 270 miles
- 10th fill up - 326 miles
- 11th........ - 347 miles
- 12th ........ - 281 miles
- 13th ........ - 322 miles
- 14th ........ - 339 miles
- 15th ........ - 318 miles
- 16th ........ - 354 miles
- 17th ........ - 331 miles
- 18th ........ - 292 miles
- 19th ........ - 313 miles

That's an average of 292 miles per tank. Not bad, considering that i do floor it sometimes. Hey got to keep that v-tec in working condition.

The idea is still a bit freash, but looks like i'll be getting the under body spoilers(type-s) for my car(Poor man style). One piece at the time. Will be placing the order for the front one by christmas.

EA, you should consider getting the red Brembo covers for the back calipers. The red Brembo's stand out so well against the WDP. It almost looks incomplete without the rears done too.
