Steven Bell , lol.Winter sucks.

swoosh, thank you sir almost as sick as yours.I spend a lot of time in this car, almost 2 hours a day.I'm averaging 280 - 350 miles a week.Honestly i wish i could double that.... love driving this thing.

Got some news on my dads Corolla:
Afther almost 300k ,we're retiring it:
-Brake lines need replacement(rotted)started to leak
-fuel lines need replacement(rotted) leak twice before/twice repaired sections
-rear quarter panel rotted
-burns 1 quart of oil every 1,000 miles(smokes a little)
-due for NJ state inspection in August

It just ain't worth fixing at all,too much rust everywhere. It's also in my opinion no longer safe to drive.

So we did a little car shopping this weekend.

Picked up a clean silver 1997 honda accord wagon ,175k for $2,000.He's loving it.

swoosh,CLtotheTL32 and Steven Bell,thanks guys.

So I cant go to Canada this weekend.....my passport is expired. Dam it. So pissed , 400 miles/one tank will have to wait.

Performed a four wheel alignment, sure enough toe was off in all four corners. Get those alignments done guys or your tires will pay for it, not to mention it helps on the mpg's.

Right around 300,000 on my 1994 beater Accord, the engine just ran forever. There was a story that this 1992 accord owner went 999,999 miles on the engine and Honda gave him a new Accord. There's this 8th gen civic lx running 863,000 miles on 8th civic, pretty amazing what those little 4 banger can do with very little stress on the engine. You'll be lucky to see 300,000 miles done on a high 11.1 compression TL but it is rare. These cars starts to turn ugly right at 250K.

yeah the endlinks are really messy....I replaced the rear sway bar end links with Moog ones and bushings with energy greasable ones....

The front Moog endlinks and sway bar bushings and Type S sway bar are sitting in the garage, waiting for me to get up my ass and install it LOL

swoosh and Steven Bell I agree..... gives it a nice touch. Lets see how long that tape will hold up.

Chef107, thank you! Will get to those 400 miles in a tank soon. Stay posted.

Got in the mail both front sway bar bushings and links. So will be replacing those soon.

I want to thank my wife for putting up with my s#%* and helping me install the roof spoiler, couldn't have done it without her.

E/A, the roof spoiler was one of my first mods on my Type S. Mine is held on with double sided tape. Still, to this day, no worries.
