Steven Bell , lol.Winter sucks.
swoosh, thank you sir almost as sick as yours.I spend a lot of time in this car, almost 2 hours a day.I'm averaging 280 - 350 miles a week.Honestly i wish i could double that.... love driving this thing.
Got some news on my dads Corolla:
Afther almost 300k ,we're retiring it:
-Brake lines need replacement(rotted)started to leak
-fuel lines need replacement(rotted) leak twice before/twice repaired sections
-rear quarter panel rotted
-burns 1 quart of oil every 1,000 miles(smokes a little)
-due for NJ state inspection in August
It just ain't worth fixing at all,too much rust everywhere. It's also in my opinion no longer safe to drive.
So we did a little car shopping this weekend.
Picked up a clean silver 1997 honda accord wagon ,175k for $2,000.He's loving it.
Mileage update: 142,057 miles

swoosh,CLtotheTL32 and Steven Bell,thanks guys.
So I cant go to Canada this weekend.....my passport is expired. Dam it.
So pissed , 400 miles/one tank will have to wait.
Performed a four wheel alignment, sure enough toe was off in all four corners. Get those alignments done guys or your tires will pay for it, not to mention it helps on the mpg's.

Burning Brakes
Right around 300,000 on my 1994 beater Accord, the engine just ran forever. There was a story that this 1992 accord owner went 999,999 miles on the engine and Honda gave him a new Accord. There's this 8th gen civic lx running 863,000 miles on 8th civic, pretty amazing what those little 4 banger can do with very little stress on the engine. You'll be lucky to see 300,000 miles done on a high 11.1 compression TL but it is rare. These cars starts to turn ugly right at 250K.

TypeSer,good luck with it. lol
bouncer07 ,wow thats some crazy numbers .I don't think i'll have any problem getting to 300k,someone in here with a 2008 with over 200k no issues . W'll see.
sourial84,count me in . Do you guys still meet up on Tuesdays?what time and is there an address ? I am notorious for getting lost.

Front sway bar links are starting to show signs of wear so..... replacing them plus the links.
The TL will be parked for most part of the month, will be saving some money by commuting in my dad's Wagon.(Dad of to Portugal for a month vacation, so i will be bringing that wagon back to life.)
Anyone here going to ATCO Honda day this month? I'm most likely stopping by.

E/A, the roof spoiler was one of my first mods on my Type S. Mine is held on with double sided tape. Still, to this day, no worries.

Steven Bell, i think this may also be the first aftermarket part I have on the car...lol.
