I can't find the SC dyno's that have been posted here... search for them and you'll see what I'm talking about.
The 3.2 SC and ACM tuning makes almost all it's HP above 6K rpms. Again a tuning deficiency... The bypass valve doesn't even close until about 3500 rpm, and you don't get 5lbs until you reach over 5500 rpm by my gauge.
But I'm talking shit, becasue I have no idea what they're doing for tuning... but tuning take more than hacking up a bin file.
Henryk, good to hear from you. You got a dyno plot to post here to illustrate the power curve issue?

In the vids I post later tonight, you'll see that it only puts out like 3.3 lbs. 321 @ 3.3 lbs, imo is pretty damn good. If you guys think I'm f*ckin with you, you can go choke on a bowl of d!cks. Come to Long Island in 3 weeks and be amazed.

Shame on you...
Oh Behave is obvious.
"The room is spinning..." is from Talladega Nights, quite possibly the funniest and most quotable movie ever.
Just a few off the top of my head:
- Shake and Bake
- That just happened
- If you don't chew big red gum, go F yourself
- I piss excellence
- The entire dinner prayer
- We're gonna make some animal noises over here
- I'm gonna go spider monkey on your ass chip
I make it a point to try to work one in everyday at my job... and that's kinda difficult considering the executive management role I'm in.

You all were jumpin all over my shit when I posted the 321 at first. You knew that the larger displacement was gonna eat up some of the boost. What'd you expect? All 5 lbs goin to the motor?!?!?! Come on!

I'm not buying the modified Comptech ACM, business, and I'm certainly not buying the posted Dyno chart...

YOU GUYS ARE ALL CRAZY.
1ST, YOU TALKED TO NATE 6 MONTHS AGO.... SUBSONIC MOTORSPORTS DID THIS JOB, WITH THE HELP OF CT ENGINEERING.
ANY FUEL MODS WERE DONE IN HOUSE. I AM SORRY THAT YOU ARE SO NARROW MINDED THAT YOU CAN NOT THE CONCEPT OF MODING THE ACM.
NEXT, GRAPHS WILL WORK THEM SELVES OUT AS BLOCK LEARNED CHANGES TIMING FOR THE DIFFERENT LOAD i.e. ROAD TO DYNO. THIS IS NOT A GRAPH OF THE FIRST PULL. IT IS THE 3RD. THE TIMING WILL BE DIFFERENT THUS GIVING YOU A SMOOTHER LINE.
P.S. IF YOU TALK TO CT, HE WILL NOW SEND YOU MY WAY. OR YOU CAN PM ME, AND I WILL GIVE YOU MY HOME NUMBER, AND WE CAN WORK THROUGH ANY QUESTIONS.
P.S.S. SHOULD YOU ALL BE WORKING ON YOUR CARS RIGHT NOW, AND NOT TALKNG S#$T IN A CRAPPY SUNDAY

the car is WORK IN PROGRESS. give the guys a break. i dont see anyone else supercharging their 3G type s. there are more mods to come. hell, to rig a blower meant for the base and custom fab a trans mount and spend a couple months in r-d is pretty damn good in my book. lets all chill and stop flaming the guy. this is a first, we cant expect perfection off the bat

stuff like this just encourages me that my car will still be nice in the years to come especially after its paid off in a little less than a year now.

But, nonetheless I like to give ppl the benefit of the doubt..no one believed me that I did a 3.5 conversion till I posted actual pictures of the rods/pistons i installed lol so I can understand your frustration. Your numbers seen legit, but your TQ graph is a joke. Another thing is the 3.3 lbs of boost. A 10% increase in displacement is going to create a lot of chages. I'm getting 3.5-4lbs of boost with the HBP on my engine, no doubt I need an even smaller pulley to get some real boost, I'm actually losing power at the very top of my power band because I'm not getting the boost I should on the bigger engine. I would assume you would have had a similar issue. Point is I'd like to know some details only cuz I could help you with some issues you have or vice-versa.
Don't get mad at the ppl here, it's just in their nature to doubt, especially when your details are sketchy.

Wow... Someones defensive. STOP YELLING
1) I understand block learning, still doesn't explain the sheer elliptical nature of your curve. It looks like a graph from math class. I've never seen anything like it.
2) It CERTAINLY does not explain the power curve leaning all the way left. Again, by that graph shows you hitting 290 HP at 3000 rpm. That makes no sense especially since the BLOWER produce MORE BOOST at HIGHER RPM. Again, at 3000 RPM your blower's bypass valve hasn't even opened yet. So you mean to tell me that at 3000 rpm, with the blower closed (provideing no boost), and the motor dragging the blower, you're making 290 HP... ???
3) As I stated earlier, I clearly understand what it would take modify the ACM. What part of any of your previous posts indicate how you've modded the ACM? Would you mind explaining a bit of what you did?
4) I wonder why .2L of displacement ate over 35% of your boost? You guys should look for boost leaks.
5) I work outside... I don't work in the cold, but you're right... armchair quarterbacking your work is a bit pissy. I'm just trying to converse and understand what you're doing, and make sense of the data you're posting.

He's not making 290 HP at 3k RPMs - the HP curve is very linear up to redline when it drops off.
EDIT: Although if you say the blower isn't actually providing any boost at 3k RPM, then the torque graph doesn't make sense either.

I have been reading this thread since the start and its gettin pretty good....like a springer episode.
Let subsonic finish the car and its not like he and s_heng are hiding it from you guys.
Go to his shop...i'm sure if any one else has a type-s he will supercharge it for you.

Wow this thread was interesting in the beginning but now it has gotten good. That Hecksher State park meet on LI is gonna be interesting to say the least.
OP keep it up and I respect you for the fact that you are the first to attempt this.

Isn't that the torque curve? I can understand a fairly flat torque curve for an FI engine, but I'm still gonna have to see more proof.

That's looks like a diesel engine torque curve.
... Ashame, I was trying to be civil and converse about what was happening in the data that has been presented here. Instead I was invited to eat a bowl dicks.

s_heng_62, I really hope you'll be at the LI meet. It'll help alleviate any false ideas about your type S. I'll be there. Its one thing to present that which you have, which is cool and all, but its another to disrespect people and tell them to choke on a bowl of dicks...come on man. I'd like to believe theres a blower on your type S. Theres a lot of nay sayers simply because it hasn't been done before.
Your dyno looks similar to other bolted up type S'. A little smoother but hell, I won't get caught up in details. I congratulate you on trying something new. However, I'd really like to see it in person.

i AM ALSO GOING TO BE THERE, SO WE CAN ALL MEET, AND BE FRIENDS, AS FOR THE BOWL GOES, SOMEONE PUT DOWN A BS FLAG, AND SOMEONE ELSE THINKS WE POSTED A DYNO FROM MY MACK TRUCK. I CAN RELATE TO THE FRUSTRATION WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS PROJECT FOR MONTHS, AND WHEN WE TAKE IT TO THE DYNO (EVERYONE WAS INVITED) AFTER FLAT TIRES, AND TIRE PLACES TAKING WAY TO LONG, AND COPS WITH TINT METERS WE GET DISRESPECTED. THERE HAS BEEN AN OPEN INVITATION TO MY SHOP SINCE THIS PROJECT BEGAIN, AND THERE WILL ALWAYS BE.
I LOOK FORWARD TO DOING THE NEXT ONE. I THINK WE HAVE A REAL KIT, AND SOON, EITHER FROM CT OUR MYSELF ANYONE CAN GET THIS KIT. OR YOU CAN BRING ME YOUR CAR, AND ILL HOOK IT UP

Sub, like I said, there will be nay sayers and skeptics. From the work you have done, I commend you, but despite a few people calling BS, its only an opportunity to be stronger for yourself. From all the info in this thread I think you've done a hell of a job. Don't think I'm trying to knock you or break you guys down...I really just wanna see this beast in person!!!
