Another TL for me....how to add iPod connector?

I tried to get myself to like the Lexus 2007 GS 350 I found with only 14,000 miles on it but in the end it just felt like I was not ready for such an old man car. Maybe if the steering were not so numb and all that wood....ugh. I couldn't find the stomach to pony up the extra cash for a 535 up front not to mention the long term maintenance costs or this would have been a hands down winner. What a fun car to drive. In the end the best decision for me was lower long term cost of ownership, another TL. I got a 08' TL with 6,500mi on it, with nav, polished gray. This car is so much more car than the 99' TL I traded. I do wish the tunes were as good as in my 99' but all other elements appear to be a big improvement.

Can someone point me to a link about what to buy and how to install a connector for my iPod?

Thanks.

the cheapest easiest route would be to use the cord that came with your ipod. Open your armrest so you are in the deep part of it, at the bottom of it you will see a little jack. Plug the stock cord into that and then into your ipod and viola! Your ipod is now connected to the stereo using the AUX option. If you want to get a little more slick, then you will need toget an i-simple unit whicj can be bought onlin, in the black market(sometimes) or at any big box electronics store such as Best Buy.
Hope that helps,
Jesse

Go here: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3g-tl-garage-faq-3g-tl-newbies-553554/

Then, hit CTRL-F and search for "iPod". You'll find threads devoted to the installation of all different types of iPod adapters. Here's mine, for example: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/i-160-usa-spec-install-633080/

Thanks for the help. I couldn't find the AUX jack becuase I was looking on the face plate (where it is on my Suburban) and in the glove box (where it is in the GS). My manual has to be shipped to me.
