Where to put change?

Anyone have luck with this?? I can't find anywhere it won't rattle at. I put it in the lower compartment in front of the shifter knob but it rattles SO MUCH.

That coin holder under the arm rest sucks. My coins always falls out from during car rides and constantly opening the arm rest. I just put all my coins in a "coin wallet" and just leave it in the compartment under the where the coin holder is at

Do you have the OEM coin holder? If not, get a small one from the auto parts store and put it under the armrest.

The OEM coin holder can be attached to the cutouts in either the upper armrest console or the back of the driver's door compartment near the sunglasses holder.

I think you have a defective coin holder. Is there decent resistance as you push down the springs of each stack?
My coin holder is kept full under the armrest, but no coins have ever slipped out since the car was new.

Yes, mine is OEM, came with car when 1st purchased. And to answer your 2nd question, yes the spring mechanism works perfectly fine. I just think my car is to stiff from the suspension, thats why my coins are falling out haha

The OEM coin holder still works perfectly in my 07. I normally dont have any coins though...or cash for that matter. Never any need to have coins or cash, but either way, mine works good. I would try getting a new coin holder first and it should work fine.

Goes in my wallet. The coin holder they give us is a POS.

Put it on the door, the coins fly out when you open/close the door.
Put it in the armrest, same thing happens.

That and I want to be able to hold nickels and pennies not one or the other.

My coin holder works perfectly fine..I actually use it and have it placed in the armrest. I had it in the door for awhile but it would jump up and down when going over bumps lol.

The problem with this, is it's a catch-22. Use only bills, and you will get change! Keep change around, and you still have the change. Plus, I'm in college, everyone hatin' on a broke ass nigga. Lol. But I tried top of the armrest once, opened bottom armrest, and BOOOOOOOM change falls EVERYWHERE. Our seats swallow things the second they go under there. I think I lost like 2 bucks in quarters.

I have some coins in my coin holder under the top compartment of the arm rest.

Now since it's winter, I'll always put change in my coat pocket.

My old wallet had a section where I could put coins in and zip it close but my new wallet doesn't do that (but it holds more cards!).

Idk how you can lose your change to the seat because once it goes in through that gap it falls back out on the other side on the floor mats for the rear passengers...could it be them thieves?

I have one of those neoprene things designed for sunglasses or a phone that has a bendable hook. I keep it in the drivers side door map compartment and the hook holds it in place. I have found that this keeps the change handy, but from rattling.

I use the coin holder placed in the console and have never had any issues. For pennies and other odd coins (couple of car wash vacuum tokens currently) I use that little "cut out" at the top of the map/door pocket.

I use the small "triangle" shaped area just ahead of the folding door map pocket. Works great as long as you don't have too much change. Never had change fall out with door action.

I was about to say the same. IMO, you should not be putting purchases <$10 on your debit/credit card. Swiped transactions are pretty costly to small businesses.
