How to install Lower Control Arm / Bushing ?

Hello All,

I can't seem to find a DIY on replacing just the lower control arm bushing for the front or replacing the entire lower control arm altogether.

I had some tires put on today and the tire guy showed me the bushing was tearing/failing on the front driver side. He mentioned if it fails it will cause bad tire wear, are there other terrible things that can happen when it does fail? Should i just wait until it fails to replace it?

I want to proactively fix it, so it would be great if someone can point me to how to DIY replace this thing. I dont know how involved it is, but I am able to change brake pads & oil (basic stuff). Would I need an alignment afterwards?

Sorry for all the questions, but i'll appreciate all helpful replies. Thanks!

Replace it if it needs it. Yes, you should get an alignment afterwards.

It's not super hard, but it's definitely more involved than brake pads & oil.
