Updating 2006 to 2007 Specs

Wondering what it takes to upgrade my o6 to 07 specs. You know, fog lights, mirror turn signals and 3-spoke steering wheel. Is there a DIY here?

there is much more to it than a simple DIY. Search what the differences are and then decide if you wanna do it, or what you wanna do. Then see if there is a DIY for the things you wanna do.

You're looking at a minimum:
-new steering wheel
-new tail lights
-new wheels
-new radio to take advantage of the Dolby PLII
-new side mirrors
-new front bumper and fog lights (plus wiring)

and better looking gauge clusters (might be a preference thing, but 07-08 gauges look 100x better than 04-06 imo)

blue led foot well lighting for passenger and driver front..

imo, you're better off trading up. Acura basically made a new car going from '06-'07...minus the body and engine.

I adore the older type-s models but I know it's not in my ability to trade up so I'm currently doing a conversion but with my own tweaks here and there trying to be original in my look you know? haha but trust me it does cost a lot of money so if you can trade up I say you do.

^Correct.

The rear bumper is different as well, it has the long rectangular mesh between the exhaust pipes.

Just a quick thing for you to check out. The 07-08 mirrors look just like the RL's so with that in mind, I wonder if the 2011 Power Folding mirrors would work on our cars. I'm going to make a seperate thread on this soon after i do some further research.

Well, I guess that settles that. No changes other than to sell my 06 to get an 08. Then again, that BMW e46 M3 is making its siren call.

I have 2 friends that are BMW owners who would agree 1000% !

So if you want to go Beemer, make sure you have really deep pockets first.

Or you can afford a good warranty for your car! My 760's warranty was 10K but they've paid out over 20K in repairs so far and the warranty still has a bit of time left!

You can go a cheaper route and clear your stock headlights, get 07-08 brake lights and update to A-Spec wheels. Then you're set with an updated 06.

The leather is softer in the 07+ models as acura changed the leather in response to complaints about leather wear but I didn't feel that the seats were softer. However the TL Base has a softer suspension than the 04-06 TL and of course the TL-S has a firmer suspension.
