I was curious...is there anyway to get the Acura emblem from our old keys/keyfob removed and placed on the backside of these new switchblade keys? is there flat blank space on the back for this?

it would be a nice touch to give our new keys a more "integrated" and "true" feel to them.

Mem 1 and mem 2 is for the keyless remote. The car will autoset your seats and mirrors when you open the car with the remote. So you can have two settings for you and someone else. You do have your key and remote right?

One setting per key. You can either get a mem 1 key and/or a mem 2 key, but not both mem's on one (the same) key.

 

No. Each key 07-08 has the remote biult in. Its mem 1 and mem 2, they are seperate. You can't have 2 mem's on one key. Mem 1 mem2 is the bottons on the side of your door that you press and the set goes to where you set it. The mem keys does that for you when you unlock the car

 

I called the shop and they said that they could keep it at 100 dollars if I could get around 40+ keys, or it would be about 5 dollars more a key. I will buy one of my own keys on monday and go to acura (60 miles away) and have them cut a key to an 2004-2008 TSX on the lot (even if it's in service) and test out all the locks, and then give the owner the blank....
