Thank you. Do the new accords (2008+) have the laser cut keys? I have not seen the key for them, but either way, the immobilizer should work. I can try to go to the local honda dealer to see if the remote can be programed to them. I will not give out my shipping address until 50 people are reached because if we fail to meet 50, then you will have sent me a key and wasted your money shipping it to me. I don't want to make you waste your hard earned money.

As for turn around time, once I reach 50 people, I will need the money and I will buy the keys. As well at the same time I will give the people shipping to me my shipping address, and hopefully the keys all arrive within a week. As soon as I have all the keys, I will take them to the shop, and it should take a 2-3 days to mill them all. I will stop by the shop every day and pick up the milled ones, test them in my car and then ship it to you. So I would estimate after payment, it should take about 1.5 weeks.

 

On the switchblade, you have to drill a tiny hole and push out the immobilizer. On the valet keys or regular keys you have, you will have to cut up the key (plastic portion). OR you can avoid all of this and take the key to the locksmith where he can program the one already inside the switchblade key.

Yes, the first picture is the before and the second one is the after.

 

The immobilizer is already in the key, it needs to be programed to your car. I paid 100 dollars at my local locksmith to have 2 switchblade keys cut and programed.

 

Aren't we actually up to 49 now because of JnC. So one more? If you go back and read the posts i believe the 1st page JnC is listed but not on the actually list. Correct me if i'm wrong. Lol, i can't wait.
