right. but the dealer can cut/program it, you dont need to go to the locksmith. should be cheaper that way.

the dealer and locksmith should be able to do both. Just make sure your dealer is competent enough to follow instructions of aligning the cutting at the stops and not the tip.

Wow, this is amazing. I'm always on the tsxclub forum and questions about the tsx switchblade have been floating around. Finally its back up again ever since flbusa closed up his shop. I'll be sure to mention this to the tsxclub members so that list should grow within a week or 2, the sooner the better.

Sorry. but i forgot to ask you, which switchblade will you be getting if we go with the $100 option. There are the 07-08 tl switchblade keys, then there are the 09 tsx switchblade keys. Supposedly the 07-08 keys will work because either the radio waves or the immobilizer chips are the same, can't remember. But the 09 tsx switchblade keys won't work because there... different. I believe everyone that is ordering a key will have a "V" on their original key because it states the immobilizer chip thats in the key. Just making sure because i don't wanna have to hack open the switchblade key just to get my immobilizer chip in there and for those of you that don't know where to go. Flbusa left a dealer list from his site at

DOes the valet key have immobilizer? if so can i just pull it out from the valet key and put it on the switchblade?

I need for explaining on this. So if i get me the switchblade i will need to go to acura to add an immobilizer?

will the switchblade key work with the newer accord?? i mean the programming part.
my friend wanted one but wasn't sure if the immobilizer is the same as acura....

what's the address to ship to you if we have the key in hand already??
what's the turn around time once you get 50 people??
