Hey whats up fellow "j-series-ers"

, i own a 05 v6 6 speed coupe accord, pretty much stock, aem v2 on the way. My brother owns a 04 tl aspec, 6 mt with nav.

My previous cars were 99 civic si turbo, 298 whp, bolt on s2k, 1991 civic hatch w. b18c swap, ran 13.9.

I wanted something more luxurious and quick, and to my surprise the accord was pretty quick. I manage to pull about half a car on my brothers tl from a 25 roll , and it feels about even with my s2k.

hey nice to see another Accord join the forum..im also an accord owner but 7th gen..but welcome to the site..its funny ur like me and my sister she has a 04 white TL and i have a black 07 accord.. and were both automatic and i pull half a car on her from a roll and a dig to..ttyl hun be safe

It's all about the transmission, not the S badge. A 6MT base TL is a hair quicker than a 5AT Type S, stock to stock.

 

 

lmfao, i never meant my TL. i would never race unless it was on a track. i meant maybe some of the other members like blacuraNY who dyno almost 300WHP.

 

i was just joking. add a little N2O and youll beat any TL out there.

 

so does the same go for an 07 automatic accord and a 6MT 07 Accord V6 my friend has a 2007 V6 6MT and i have an 07 Auto and we always race for shits and giggles and im always rite next to him even from a dig we never went full force with it but..i think in the long run he would take me..lol even with my mods.

 

lol yea if i had money id turbo it or supercharge it that would be sick but i dont got money like that..lol
