Did you tighten it up all the way? JJ had the same problem, but he said the bolts were a litle loose.

It should not make any noise. Did you say that the end link ball stud came out of the socket? If so that is probably the noise you hear.

Even if it's only loose it can make noise. Let us know how it goes after you've checked all the bolts again.

Loosen all the bolts, and align it correctly again. See if that helps.

if there is a clunking or thumping noise, the brackets that hold on the rubber bushings (2 screws on each size, middle of bar) are loose, loosen them, make sure that the rubber or polyurethane brushings are firmly seated on the bar, then reinstall brackets until snug, I believe its 3o pounds of pressure.

FYI , i gotta say this really is a job better left to the pro's.. or atleast somebody with a LIFT... lol.. doing it in the driveway really really sucked ass and getting those endlinks OFF are a pain in the ass too

I used the stock bolts since they are of much better quality than stock (1ooo) miles ago... And still tight... The only thump I've heard from the rear shocks is when I come off of a speed bump... Makes the shock drop down a bit quicker than before and creates a mild thump only audible when all 4 windows are rolled down
