Yes it's really embarrassing . If you read a little bit more , there will be nothing difficult. The lip kit can be bought through vendor in AZ. I will give you one, http://oemacuraparts.com/ and choose your vehicle in there. If you want to get it fast , you can go to your nearest dealer to ask for price ( usually it will be more expensive but who knows ).

Yea I have a 07 Type S and I want an A-Spec kit. Little different from if I just had a TL... I had already looked at that oem website (don't even list Type S) and asked my Acura dealership. Dealership explained that Acura didn't have the A-Spec kit for my year Type S body. Needed to be custom to fit. Thanks anyways.

But thanks to the kind El Pasedo & his link I will be purchasing one next month in the group buy.

Agree. Just meant the way it has to be made to fit my year. That's what Acura dealer and OEM wedsite has told me..

Exactly! But it's all good now. Vender AckTL05 is gonna hook me up with the A-Spec kit.

Why hasn't anyone offered up a RonJon Aero Kit as an option?

Personally, I wouldn't put an Aspec Kit on my Type S-unless you don't mind the nose of your car looking like a bug-eye goldfish.....

Plus, I've never heard of an Aspec Kit not fitting an '07 Type S.

I'm definitely not a fan of the RonJon Aero Kit, but to each their own.

^^^^ That's fine-I just wanted to make sure you were aware of more options on the market than just the Aspec Kit. For me, I love the Base TL Aspec Kit, but definitely not a fan of the Type S Aspec Kit. But, like you said, to each his own.

I saw one for the first time in person at Acurafest and it looked pretty good. Seems pretty expensive though.

ASM FTW, beware the NBP curse

The RJ kit looks cool for about 5 minutes and then you're ready to move on. IMO, the OEM TL-s kit is the best out there and fitment is pretty good. Just try to keep the black mesh in the two lower areas next to the round fog lights during install. The instructions call to remove it, but it looks much better with it on. I'll try to find the link for you but it takes a little modification to leave it on. If I recall correctly, I just had to shave out a very thin piece for it to sit flush.

Looks like you've got plenty of offers for help

Here's the original thread about the lower mesh/grill assembly. You can see my desperate newbie post in there

I just suggested this because I think it looks better, but it might not be your cup of tea. Goodluck.

I'm gonna buy the 07-08 base TL A-Spec front spoiler and have it molded to fit my Type S. Just need to find a body shop in San Antonio that specializes in custom work..
