base front spoiler on the type-s FTW! One of a kind baby one of a kind.

yes it is a sarona roof spoiler. they only make one for the tl. Yo BLACK, did i work the spoiler? you bet your ass i did! when i got it i was like cool all i have to do is get it painted it's primered already. i placed that thing on the rear window and was like " OH HELL NO!!! that thing sat so high! like 1/2 inch off the top. i trimmed that thing soo much. but i came out clean after i was done.


i got this tool a home depot i think its for shaving down plaster after drywalling. there was a ton of material i shaved off that thing. this thing did short work of it. about an hour of shaving.

i know you and others have this wing but i never see any close up shots of it. if they didn't trim it down, i know why i dont see any, it looks like poo when you get it from sarona. why couldn't they trim it to fit better?

i had some other parts painted as well, all the engine compartment plastic covers, wing, guy charged me $225 for all. yea i trimmed it alot before i got it painted with that tool i got. i figured i would take my time and trim it real good test fitting it frequently. cuz i dont think a body shop would try to make it that perfect. but thats just me im very picky and anal.

so basically you sanded the bottom piece of the wing were it sits on the window>>>how mutch did u take off 1/2 inch 1inch??

no i shaved off the majority of the material from the top part were it meets the roof and some on the sides, hardly nothing on the bottom part. i dont know exactly how much i just shaved it till it looked flush.

i didn't use any sandpaper just that tool i showed, it shaves it down pretty smooth.

Not a fan of the wheels, but the whole car in general, is DROLL MATERIAL! One of the cleanest ua6 I've seen in a while. The '08 Base aspec front lip looks so good with the Type-s Aspec kit! Love you roof spoiler, unlike the other TLs I've seen rocking the ugly ebay spoiler. Thumbs up to your ride!

oo soo i see what you did now looking at pics from the sorona website, you shaved off the only the top part that tuching the roof which created a wing that slants down rather than flat
