I have installed a type-S spoiler on my 05 TL
Type-s spoiler fits fine. Perfect fit. Guess what guys- spoiler is a "part" not an accessory. Therefore- it is priced at $147 - Painted. Go to acura e-store. Installation- exact same way that the decklid spoiler is installed. Peace.

More details and pics please!
Hey dude! Your pics are missing from this post! What's "e-store"? I assume this can be had from any dealer? What is the actual part number you picked up? Thanks in advance for the help!

Google search honda estore: http://estore.honda.com/asp/logon.as...1024&bhiw=1004
Your zip code; Parts; Enter Acura, 2007, TL, 4, Type S, 5AT or 6MT, then interior color; Select Dealer; BODY / AIR CONDITIONING / TRUNK LID; Under item 29 look for your color under info; add to cart and done!

So I'm assuming that you actually screwed the lip in.
TetraLudious05 or dan...k, do you think its possible to use just double sided tape instead?
For everyone else wondering the differences between the spoilers, check out this thread: 04-06 lip spoiler same as 07 TL-S spoiler? (pics)

Did you have the dealership install it and how much did you pay? Being that it's a "part" and not an accessory it didn't come with the templates for installation. What color did you get?

Here are some pics of the 04-06 TL spoiler. This on was removed from an 06 TL NBP. It still has the original tape. The two studs look like they may be the same as the 07 TL Type S in dan.....k photos. Might be a little off, don't know for sure ?

No template? and I need to drill 7 holes in the trunk lid? This one might require some thought - I can't bear the thought of drilling into her........
