That white...had me eat my words. It DOES look good on WDP (paint codes....slowly sinking in). Thanks to da2rumac for the post. Thanks again Rockstar, for helping him out with the pics.

What makes this cool is how the ones that have bought, really love it. Making a product from an idea...cool....making someone happy...priceless.

PS...I was exactly going to say what you did before reading your response about eating your words. One would think it's not enough contrast, but dammit...that white on white is GORGEOUS! Great job with all the underlit and the led license. The emblem was a natural progression.

This mod is slowly but surely turning into as much of a "must have" as being lowered and tints.

Great job having the balls and forsight to turn an idea into a product into a success story. Great guy, great product and def. great seeing it all come together. Looking forward to some "front" action, myself!

That white on white looks sick!! Mine should be here pretty soon, cant wait to see it!! cant wait to show off this emblem..i have a feeling lots of peeps will ask me where i got it and i will be happy to tell them where to get one ...and Steve aka Ampd seller is very cool and very helpful and the communication is great!

Anyone? im on the fence as to what color would look best... Blue on Blue might be too much, but I dunno... ?

 

tlemmon: it depends on you and how your taste is...what color is your interior lighting??? depending on that.. In my opinion...red is def out...and just looking at pictures on site and in my head...white would look good and blue actually might not look so bad...

Lol...blue on blue might look great. You CANNOT go wrong with white on ANY color (even white!)

 

Well, everything is stock at this point... I prefer white(ish) colors for most of my lighting needs. I might go blue/blue just so at night it doesn't look too conspicuous. I dunno.

AMP'd - if I get blue and don't like em, can/will you exchange em for white?

btw, does anyone do the illuminated door sills anymore? Most of the posts I find using search are old and dated and the folks that made em.... dont anymore!

 

Because it's an electronic and made to order part he may have a hard time dealing with shipping back and then reselling. Just make sure you study what you see on the website before deciding. I think white will be least conspicuous and most classy. But I'm biased. I got that and I won't look back.

I don't want to speak for him...maybe he has a more lenient return policy but I'd understand if he didn't although he IS very reasonable.

Anyway. Not too sure about the door sills...I haven't seen em but then again they don't interest me...ironically enough. lol.

 

Lemmon, no one does the door sills anymore-sorry! You might try the Black Market section to see if anyone is selling theirs. That's how I got mine.

TLemmon...about the different color...it may be an option on the front...but the back has the Tape....which needs to be replaced. Not impossible....but not really what I want to get into yet. If you TOTALLY hate the color...we can talk. It wouldnt be free of course...but it wouldnt be the full price either. As far as blue...well...mine is blue...on blue. But...white would look hot I'm sure. Possibly even red. Go with your gut. White is probably more distinct on the blue.

Steve, question for you...why is that my white color looks like a normal white LED while CL's eblem looks like the cool white?

 

Both look really nice! Think the difference you are seeing is the cameras are different jmo.

 

Wed. night I went out to meet up with some members. One member took this pic. This was done with a really expensive camera. Again the pic looks different and doesn't show how it looks in person. Now the whole area is blaring red lol. Even some members that questioned it changed their opinion when the saw it in person.

 

Wow Dan, Leo did take a good picture of that. First real good one I've seen.

 

Perhaps have the person take another picture using a higher ISO setting and a faster shutter speed. That way the light wont saturate the CCD in the camera so much and come across as "blaring red".

Guys, the mystery of digital cameras, lighting, light wavelength of various colors, paint color - light color combinations are all variables. Short answer...all of the white LEDs are exactly the same.

More than likely, the cameras are the main difference.

I figured somethin was up with the camera angle or the lens... i took my pics of the emblem on a canon 14.7 megapixel camera.. and the pics and real life look exactly the same. It was just a question i had... thanks everyone.
