Looks fantastic, was really impressed with the packaging, came with everything needed including the fishing line.

Tips: make sure you close the wire crimps all the way, if your emblem doesnt light up off the bat, this would be the first thing to check.

i am kinda on the fence on this mod, be nice, and different and nobody else would really have it, but at the same time i think it would be very though


anyways amp'd have you looked at any of those tri-color leds (red, blue, green), then people can pick what color they want at their will just by changing the amount of voltage applied to each color/leg of the LED
so you could say it be white, then turn red with the brake lights or something

but space might be an issue though especially on the back emblems being mounted right on the sheetmetal, where the fronts seem to have quite a bit more room to work with




and as far as an extra light up front, i think they might be kinda like those washer lights from years past, if the pig wants to be an ass he will be

 

Well...as far as the R word...I will let the product...and more importantly, the customers that have one, speak to this concern. I know no one, that has one, that believes that.

The Bi and Tri colored LEDs are a great idea. It has already been brought up, and is one of the several projects on the R and D board. When and if it gets developed, it will be announced on the website, facebook, and here.

np, and i never mentioned the R word, i only drew it

 

and for changing the colors, a couple of pots would do the trick real easy, so no messing around with resisters and such, but you have to charge more though to still make it worth your time though (gotta be able to still make a living), and people not coming back if say they wanted a different color

 

I don't think it looks ricey in the least. Rear emblem lights up stock on the Dodge Viper.

The more I look at the blues and the reds the more I appreciate them. I LOVE the whites...very elegant and DEFINITELY match my theme. But the blues are friggin gorgeous too!

Ironic how this whole thing on here started with a thread asking if this was possible and like 10 posts calling it rice. If it is...wrap me in seaweed and dip me in soy cause I'm diggin it!

Steve. Have I told you lately that I love this. This mod doesn't get old...I still HAVE to walk away from the car and lock and unlock it 15 times at night just to see the emblem light up again and again. My actuators hate you.

had this done on my car until i sent my car in for paint they pulled it out and busted all the led's. looked great while i had it though.

Thanks! Actually, they are the original LEDs. As you and all the other Amp'd Emblem owners know, it is very very hard to truly capture the look of them on film. It is very hard to take a picture, in the dark, of a light. The colors look off, etc. This one looks good. So many variables too. The ambient light, the LED color, the car reflectivity, the camera, the flash, etc., etc.

I will have to post a picture of my Amp'd Emblem in Extreme Blue. I have the Extreme LEDs. So far, the only ones with them are my TL, and the Scion I just made (on the website). Have some people asking about them, so I think I need add them as an option. Unfortunately, they are more expensive. The Blue....my cost.....is around $7.00 PER LED! And the hookup is completely different. So..the short answer to when...is....soon.

2007 TL (my test vehicle).

how much brighter are these? also since the people that have an emblem already would there be a type of trade up to this one or can we send ours back for a led swap? and what would be the prices for each way done?
