i try searching through the forum for a diy auto trans fluid change....after searching for awhile i couldnt find it and gave up . can someone link or provide a diy for a atf change? and what is a 3x3 (i hear that alot in the forum but not sure what it is). Some people also recommend the redline atf fluid over the honda atf z1 -- where do you get the redline fluid from?

Kthai417, along from what ggesq posted, a "3X3" means to fill up the transmission fluid reservoir one time, drive for about five miles, empty and drain, fill it up a second time, drive for about five miles, empty and drain, and fill it up a final time. This gets out all of the dirty ATF from the system.

thanks for all the info! greatly appreciated. i was checking prices on honda atf z1 today, i cant believe how much it had went up since i owned a 98 accord....sigh
